Gasoline at Highest Price Ever for This Time of Year

that's why I'm glad I got me a motorcycle... only 4 gallons with a range of 300ish miles

300? I'm smelling salts. What bike you got? I put around 4.5 gals in mine and go around 128ish.

JFC, that's not a motorcycle. That's a motor with two wheels attached to it. Why does it have a larger liter displacement than my Wrangler motor does (4.0)? You only need enough to haul two bodies and a little bit of gear. There's your problem; they make your motorcycle motors big so that you end up using gas as fast as possible. Find out who told them to make them like that, and screw them!

That's the engine on my truck.

Running on gas. It's the 5.8L Windsor engine.

Yike, that's expensive with trailer and you have my sympathy about expensive gas, it is worth in long term to have a truck that run on diesel - I will consider if I want to be private truck driver.

I love Shipping Wars on TV and one young man with van paid $$$$$$$ on gas for haul the heavier stuffs.

I definitely pull some weight. My trailer's always loaded up as I store my equipment in there.

I'm not interested in running diesel as accessibility to gas is important to me. As I said before... I really should buy a new truck.

Oh really, because of fewer stations with diesel?

Yes. I do a lot of "inside the loop" work and there aren't as many diesel stations as there are along highways. They're there but LOOKING for one can be costly. My time is valuable and I have to consider that expense too.

Those oil and filter changes on a diesel are no picnic either. they do tow nicely though.

lol not THAT small but it's tall.

Manute Bol was also tall.

I'd like to get a KTM and do the whole dual purpose thing one day. It's definitely not my area of riding so it's on my bucket list.
