Most part of middle east and Venezuela are cheap to fill up the fuel but all of them are depends on oil, or not sure.

i also have a compact car.. which saves gas.. however i use my truck for landscaping, hauling my ATV and friends atv. .. i use my car for everyday travel.

New superwalmart just opened few days ago and murphy gas station opened too. So now on, I pump gas at Murphy because its $2.55 per gallon PLUS 3 cents off per gallon, good deal! Murphy gas station is cheapest than all gas station around here. Highest I see is $2.86 per gallon.

Sure, that is main reason why I ended up bought Honda Goldwing... to save gas! I prefer motorcycles that is water cooled rather than air cooled. They last much longer... 3 to 4 times longer.
Sure! motorcycle price has shot up these days... :-D Glad to see more bikers out there.

Exactly why is that? Just curious as I would love to get a motorcycle but I don't know all the ins and outs with 'em. I do know that the tires don't last as long as car tires.

I plan on getting a Honda Gold Wing 1800 converted to a trike by TriKing or Lehman with Honda's factory canary yellow paint and maybe a matching trailer, lol......
 
Water cooled motor means they got antifreeze that you need to maintain and add if they were low. Most motorcycle is air cooled, meaning they don't have antifreeze and depends on air to keep the motor cool. All of the cars is water cooled, you see the radiator? That is for antifreeze. For motorcycle, easy to tell, look in front of motorcycle, right behind the front wheel if you see the small radiator, about the size of paper, then it is water cooled, but if you can't find one then it is mostly likely air cooled.

NO NO NO!!!! GL1800 is worst bike in history!!!

Go for GL1500 or GL1200. If you want more information I can tell you though PM. The reason bad move with GL1800 is that they got serious recall on them. They were beyond repairable. If you see GL1800 on Ebay "buy now" for $5k... that is BAD BAD BAD one!

From 2000 to present, they used aluminum for frame, and they get cracked easily, now you see why it is beyond repairable.... taking everything out to fix the frame, eh?

Mine is GL1200, I wish I had gone for LTD or SEI, but again it is easier for me to get parts for regular GL1200 than LTD or SEI.
