Funny Thought About Technological Future

Oh that's why you have never heard of this beta video. yeah I am way older than you. wanna exchange my age?

Haha, naw, I'll get there eventually. I plan on eventually reaching all the ages! \o/

I don't want to skip over any, though. Why miss out?

My dad had one of the first Betamax. It was a top loader. We had a later version.

Worse than that, I had 8-track audio tapes!

We also had an original Pong game.

What is a slide rule? (Still have mine.)

We don't have it now; we used to have it.

It all seems primitive now but at the time, my dad worked in and bought all kinds of most recent technology. (He was an electrical engineer, working for Bell Labs, Lockheed, NASA, and the Navy, at different times.) The Royal manual typewriter I have is the one he used in college. It's all metal and weighs a ton. Still workable and in pristine condition (as how he kept everything).

I am sorry, JClarke. I am still using the TTY or TDD. It is not out of the wood yet. :P

I miss the old TTY

Oh. I got it. yeah we had one that belonged to my sister in the house. It was a fun game but became boring fast. eh..
We played with Pong the way a kitten jumps at a flashlight dot on the wall. A very simple pleasure.

Better yet, I had (and still have) a manual typewriter.

I saw on TV that some people like the sound of the keys on manual typewriter .
And they use it instead of a computer as it help them write better. I have my dad old typewriter in the basement , it weight a ton! Maybe I could sell it !
