Those where the days. I LOVE the 8 tracks. Especially the 8 track loader in the car. Oh yeah, we're shakin' now baby!

We don't have it now; we used to have it.

It all seems primitive now but at the time, my dad worked in and bought all kinds of most recent technology. (He was an electrical engineer, working for Bell Labs, Lockheed, NASA, and the Navy, at different times.) The Royal manual typewriter I have is the one he used in college. It's all metal and weighs a ton. Still workable and in pristine condition (as how he kept everything).

We played with Pong the way a kitten jumps at a flashlight dot on the wall. A very simple pleasure.

I saw on TV that some people like the sound of the keys on manual typewriter .
And they use it instead of a computer as it help them write better. I have my dad old typewriter in the basement , it weight a ton! Maybe I could sell it !
