Oh, ok let's talk about intent.

Foxnews has no intention to cover koran burning... go figure.

Other networks would cover it.

Foxnews is supposed to be balanced and fair so you decide.

FoxNews will cover it, but not with a video of the burning. If CNN had a story on child pornography, would you expect them to post pornographic videos?

You can look at the lack of video coverage as a type of media manipulation. I like to think they are using good common sense here. Not often I ride on the side of FoxNews, but on this I will.

Not much TV ratings in something like this. Bibles being burned by anyone is not nearly the kind of story a Priest burning a Koran is. Would you want to see Bibles burned? Or would you want to see the Koran burned? Which gets your interest more?

I missed that part. If you are referring to Muslims in any other country, not a whole lot you can do to force feed them our laws. Maybe we could invade? Oops, already tried that.

Because it is news and, unlike Fox, they are not practicing censorship. It should be shown just as any other news item should be shown. Americans have the choice of whether they watch it or not. Fox News does not need to be making that choice for the American public.

Thank goodness the severely disturbed pastor changed his mind. But had it gone through, American needs to see such fanatics as this in action.

It's not censorship, it's editorial policy, the same that the other networks use when they decide not to cover events that don't fit their editorial viewpoint. All networks exercise editorial policy. That's what guides them as to whether or not they will show dead bodies, release the names of rape victims, show the faces of minors, etc.

The network can report what's happening without providing V-roll of everything.
