Yes, I applaud them as well. Though I will say, it probably has something to do with the Saudi Prince who owns close to 20% of NewsCorp...

Kudos to Foxnews.

better bow and kiss Saudi Prince like the way Bush did. hold his hand too.

I would rather him have sex with him in the Oval office than bow to him......less embarrassing

I'm questioning why other news media will cover the burning?

7% = $2.3 billion stake

because their major shareholders are not Arabic nor are involved in funding Islamic-related activity including Ground Zero mosque.

There's another church saying it will do the burning if this church in Gainsville, FL doesn't go ahead and do it.

Fox News is getting kudos on its refusal to cover the burning, yet it was criticized for not showing the cartoons of Mohammad.

Interesting.

*chirp chirp* hmm... ok :io:

I agree with both decisions. As well as the decision not to show footage of the planes hitting WTC any more... Fox still reported on both stories....they just refused to show the offensive image.

To be honest, I didn't see much point in showing these cartoons except to infuriate the people even more. However, I do think it should be discussed. It's just common sense to not show images if they are found to be offensive.

The burning of the Koran could put people at risk especially if it's being aired nationwide. Just as badmouthing Star Wars on national TV could jeopardize your life.

I remember how Fox News kept cutting Michelle Malkin off whenever she tried to show the cartoons on TV.

I find this to be a surprisingly good decision on FoxNews's part. Doubt I would watch it anyway.

It appears that the AP had also decided to not cover this stunt. Kudos to them as well.
