Master Rebuild Kit MKF300B+

They were not hard to find the parts.:D

I talk about old International pick up truck's engine parts, not to Ford 300 engine parts. That's why he favor a Chevy V8 motor in a 1955 International truck. If I buy an oldie truck, I won't rebuilt OEM engine or tranny or rear end. Buy Chevy V8 crater, tranny and Ford 9 rear axle plus upgrade front end suspension along disc brakes etc. These parts are easy to get.

I had a '78 Pontiac Gran Prie (sp) with a Buick 6 (don't know anymore but would not be surprised if it was a V6) in it that had a repeated problem with cover gaskets leaking. Keep up with that and it seemed to be fine. I drove it for close to 20 years. Just everyday type of driving not looking for speed etc.

Yeah, Cylinder heads in early Buick V6 engine has raw lips where the valve cover gasket contact on, no factory milled lips. That's how they developed more oil leaks often and also flooded oil in the cylinder heads due to oil sludge/carbon buildup in drain holes just above of the valley. Milled lips on the late model cyl heads were improved to sealing and less oil leaks..
