Former Miss USA Susie Castillo says TSA "molested" her at DFW airport - Crimesider - CBS News

DALLAS - Former Miss USA Susie Castillo says a TSA pat down at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport left her feeling "molested" and "helpless."

Castillo, who was crowned in 2003, representing Massachusetts, was in tears after she was searched while preparing to fly home to Los Angeles on April 21.

"What bothered me most was when she ran the back of her hands down my behind, felt around my breasts, and even came in contact with my vagina!" Castillo wrote on her website.

She did a video minutes later and posted it on YouTube, claiming she felt "molested."

The beauty queen turned actress says she decided against doing the body scanner over concerns about exposure to radiation.

Castillo says a female Transportation Security Administration worker who checked her touched her crotch area several times.

"I felt completely helpless and violated during the entire process (in fact, I still do), so I became extremely upset," she wrote on her website.

Castillo later complained and was given a TSA comment card.

TSA spokesman Luis Casanova says the screener was questioned and did the pat down correctly. Casanova apologized for any discomfort to Castillo.

You know, people screamed for tighter security based on the fear generated by the previous admin with all their color coded alerts and misleading statements. Well, here are your tighter restrictions. See what all your fear got you?

Several times? If the Security worker only do that once, not more than once.

Also I never thought that the body scanner will cause radiation which might get us cancer. :dunno: Very interesting. :hmm:

I am glad that I am not on the airplane. I used to go on the airplanes to travel many years ago. I remembered I had to walked through the scanner or a person with the device to scan. But now it is all changed and I am soooo glad that I don't have to go to the airport before boarding. Whew! :)
