No, that is why a good rule of thumb is to have 12 months of house payments in savings before buying......Can't afford to do that?? Don't buy....simple.

Oooops... bought a house recently.... I don't think I had that much in savings... ;)

Oh wait.. never mind. I got the tax credit. w00t!

LOL......well most don't. But it's a good rule of thumb. Even more so when you run your own biz like I did. You never know when the phone might stop ringing for a while.

That is one of the problems. They lose their jobs they thought secure and fall through the cracks. I have heard of towns where the sheriff refuses to evict people from foreclosed homes. Good.

:hmm: I find that difficult to believe. That is their job. Foreclosure IS a legal process.

Ohh.. yea very true! That's definitely less of a job security!

Yup, this is true had happened in Chicago, sheriff refused to hand down foreclosure, where he thinks is not right thing.

He should be removed from duty then....unless there was a legitimate reason :)

Nawww, people should be up in arms about it. Barricades, violence, uniforms swan-diving into the streets. Then maybe something can be worked out. :)
