you missed this part - "the more unstable a fighter jet is, the more maneuverable it is. if you take out turbine jet from F-22 and put on the most powerful turboprop... it won't even be able to take off."

Yes I am aware of older fighter jets being able to "glide" in a limited way but why are we talking about some Cold War planes? it's irrelevant. it doesn't exist anymore. it's in Smithsonian museum.

yes. they figured it out. how? it has dozens of computer chips and sensors to correct itself.

Also worth noting that there are APU/APGS to power the control systems in the event the engines are out.
 
Wow, I'm surprised no one else paid attention to my post. I already experienced flying in a glider towed by a twin propellor plane. Guess some people are too lazy to read the posts before asking questions.
 
no, i saw your post, count me in, i did read it, and I actually want to go gliding at end of this year - after completing a research paper (hence a HOLIDAY BREAK!)

I was talking about highlander asked a question when he didn't read my post. :-P

Lot of forums require you to research BEFORE asking any questions. I doubt they do it in Alldeaf but maybe they do it to save on bandwidth.
 
I rather Hanging glider than this glider your guys been talking. Its equilvent of flying with motorcycle.

Hopefully will achieve that dream within few years. I know where to start just that money is the issue.
