This is a problem that has always existed, unfortunately.

She should have asked for help with finding affordable childcare. I think there are programs that provide very cheap or free childcare for low income single mothers.

She did...she made too much money to qualify but not enough to be able to pay for it. It was a long time ago...I just asked my mom about it last night..she was that was like 18 years ago. Times were different.

Shitty neighborhood = lower property values.

right but to double the value? I think that is a rip off. If go up by 50K but another 150K? My husband said it is because they can get away with it but now that the housing market is cooling down that might change.
