So far I know it is at least 19 VRS providers out there. There are also much more contract VRS provider, for example a local VRS provider may have contracts with bigger VRS providers so it is likely much more than 19.

If your darn curious... there should be information at FCC website.

Do I have to listing on how much VRS there are?

1. They need improve HDMI hardware and cable to support CC.
2. More free WiFi at public. We can use VP or netbook at anywhere. Better than Mobile Phone (I have Rheumatiod Arth)
3. VRS need improving background wall. I dislike blue wall. So, I have to use other VRS.
4. We need CC online at CNN, ABC, Showtime, ESPN360, etc.

No need. You need to double check on hardware or program to set up correct. I use HDMI thru dvd player and DirecTV for 2 years and CC work fine to me.

Rec HD used CC image instead true CC tracking which able to resolution to be appear on HDTV, it's problem for poor visual who want to custom the size what Rec HD doesn't offer while HDTV or SDTV with digital CC offer but lame.

DVD Player is questionable about HDMI that people been tell it work only on componment thru 480i instead overscan to see the yuck display but CC.

1) HDMI already work fine with CC.
2) Wi-MAX!!! :D
3)Sorenson VRS never have blue background wall at all.
4) I agreed with you!

VRI is alot cheaper than getting live Terp!

VRI, you pay the actual minutes, while live terp, you pay minimum of 2 hours plus their service fees.

Say for 30 minutes, SorensonVRI will cost only 50 dollars, while hiring live terp, their rate is 75 dolllars an hour, and you must pay miinimum of 150 dollars, plus their traveling expense which can hit 200 dollars easy.

Research and you will understand,

I was hoping that VRI will become reality and be funded by FCC. I can see it as possiblity.

I know about VRI and they are so expensive.

Right and want know why they use grey background? It is for two good reasons,

first, the less colors in background the better the video quality will be.
secondly, neutral color is alot easy on our eyes.

Seriously, I have seen video with tons of details in the background and the video quality actually deteriorated. That is because of the vast amount of data is sent over the Internet, the more data sent out the slower it will be. Just same idea as on the highway, the more cars going at same time the slower the traffic it would be.

1) link website? I need information (HDMI and CC)

3) Yes, I know about sorenson. Many years, I use i711. They have nice cloud wall. Two weeks ago, they changed to blue wall. Very few still have cloud wall

I currently have Sprint with my Samsung Ace and I'd like to see the price of the data plan go down -- perhaps about $30 to $0 a month, but I'd like to see the price get down to $30.

I'd also like to see smartphones have two SIM card slots. One for data and one for voice. This allows those of WebCapTel to do both data and voice communication separately, regardless of whether they're in 3G or EDGE network.

As for digital captions in TV, it'd be great if I could manually adjust the size by point instead of preset size in the digital caption menu. But I believe this is impossible when it comes to DVD and Blu-Ray movies.
