First Applebees, now Olive Garden

Here in Arkansas I believe a bartender is required to mix and serve the drinks in establishments that serve mixed drinks. Places that serve only beer they bring your mug and the beer to you and you pour your own beer.

Also I agree that as a caution parents should taste a child's drink first before they give it to their child to ensure that it's the correct drink. In each case the children could have had adverse health issues as their little bodies are not developed enough to metabolize alcohol properly - this also precautionary if the child is allergic to certain substances.

Yup, in Alabama, if you go to restaurant and have seat on regular table so you look for beer, wine or other drink on menu then you tell to waitress that you want beer so she will ask you for ID then if it is verify that you are over 21 years so she will carry beer to you.

It is your choice to eat in bar or regular table, in some restaurants without bars so waitress will serve alcohol upon customer's request and carry to them.
 
However I wouldn't be surprised if some companies change their policy nationwide to exceed the bare minimums to save themselves from a potential lawsuit. I can see it now - all alcoholic beverages must be consumed in the bar - no one under 21 allowed - no exceptions. :shock:

in your state? I don't see in here, even neither is in Florida.

Restaurants should have wise and caution about serve the alcohol, also waitress should fill the non-alcoholic juice in kid bottle directly, not left in container or closer to alcohol. It is all about common sense and they should know better.

Yes but this is America we are talking about. Common sense ain't all that common! :lol: Restaurant chains will do this as a way to defend themselves against potential future lawsuits. I am sure all restaurants have caught wind of this and are probably reminding their servers several times a shift to double check the drink and the container it is going into.

Yup, they need update their training to their employees and if they don't go well then FIRE them away.

I think most restaurants will settle the lawsuit and pay customers for damage has been done.
 
i saw on the news also

mostly parents knew it! Never let kids drink alcohol but must drink sprite,forumla,etc..

i dont know what next in the stores!!
 
Actually, the second and third, they're been abuse to tell that server accident the alcohol.
