The issue is, with this event, is not being a good samaritan nor giving back to the community. The issue is leading a group of people away from one area to another then leaving this group of people without taking further responsibility.
Back then, you could do something good and people would thank you.
Today, you do something good... and someone will find a flaw in what you did, then sue you.
That's the problem nowadays.
For instance, a man falls off a ladder and stops breathing. There's no medical help immediately available. You can let him die or save his life.
So, you give him CPR and save his life. However, he is paralyzed. It was either caused by the fall or by you moving him when you performed CPR. Either way, he feels the need to sue... so he sues you.
