Ehhh... Not bragging just letting him know that it is very easy to beat. I know plenty of people who do it. Blue collar, white collar, gov. workers, military. It is more common than you think.

In highschool I had to take 3 drug tests for different reasons. I never took any preventive measures. I always had smoked marijuana within 12 hours of each test. I always passed. I'm really suspicious of drug tests and for the most part think it's BS. I'm starting to believe they don't design them or care about THC at all. I've never known anyone to fail on THC alone. The only failures I've heard about deal with cocaine or meth. Just FYI. Is this the BMI thread? I am considered underweight. Like Audrey Hepburn style.

Sometimes the urine isn't tested. I depends on what the employer pays for. Sometimes they will just pay for urine to be taken hoping that is deterrent enough. Labs will do that for about $50. The tests and background I did ran about $1000 each. But the fact that I could show this testing had been done paid for itself.

I have never been observed. They let me go alone into the stall. The temperature is noted right after I finish. I did some testing for FAA back in the early 90's. A coworker took the FAA mandated test about an hour after he took a few uppers to combat a severe hangover from a concert the night before. He stopped at a convenience store for a gallon of water, drank the entire thing en route to the testing facility, then peed once into the gallon bottle before he entered. His drug test came back clean. Granted the hair follicle test is much more thorough, but most employers don't feel the need to go that far. It is a matter of catching vs determent. Now that I am not under FAA mandate, I wonder how much more vigorous the tests are?

That's not the way the military does it. An observer has to watch for "positive flow", face-to-face. It's embarrassing (I've been an observer, and observee) but it's effective.

In the Navy, our tests were always surprise and random, so unless you wear a condom of urine taped to you every day, all day long, I don't know how that would be effective.

To be dehumanized? No, that's not the point at all. Thanks to dishonest druggies it's necessary.

Drug testing is very serious in the military. That's why it's observed, random, surprise, and stringent chain of custody.
