Favorite kind of Italian food

I like 'em all but I'd say Veal Rollatini (Veal stuffed with prosciutto and cheese in mushrooms marsala wine sauce) is my number one Italian food to eat. :D
 
One more thing...at Vince resturant in Torrance, CA has best Itatlain food! MMM! Maybe my mom will take me there when I am in LA? :dunno: We'll see!
 
I love Italian foods alot! Avanti buffet I sometime eat there. I prefer family lunch or dinner together better. I brought SmileyGin with me to eat there and she love it. Romance. :)
 
Anything except green and black olives.

Italy is not far from Germany. We drove there many times. We MIGHT drive there for the weekends during summer holiday... :thumb:

I love everything with olives or olive oil.

A slice of Italian bread with olive oil, garlic salt, spices, some cheese, thin fresh tomato slices, toasted in the oven...mmmmm. :)

Salad with olives and feta cheese...mmmmmm. :)

I'm getting hungry!

ohhhhhhhhhhh my fav food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love italian foods... lasgna, spaghetti both i can make homemade //.. yummy along with garlic bread.. :D
 
Oh man, this is a tough one, since they are all great. A killer thin-crust pesto pizza with roasted garlic and a ton of peppers, onions, mushrooms is a good time. A simple tomato salad with lots of fresh basil is awesome if the tomatos are summer-garden fresh. But I think my all time fav would have to be ravioli. I stuff em with a pecan pesto with mushrooms and garlic and top with a marinara sauce. This topic makes me want to cook and eat!
 
I only eat of pizza, karft dinner, lasgna that is all cause others that I dont like it which I dunno why :lol:
 
mamma mia! Growing up in a very large Italian-American community in New Jersey, there were so much Italian food to eat! But I never had a real Italian dinner until when I went with my ex-bf to Italy in 1999. One night, we ate in a very nice restaurant, and the menu offered us several courses, before finally having dessert and coffee. We had like 4 or 5 different dishes, but we didn't feel full at all, just right! And it was a very slow eating affair with wine. Yum... I can't remember what we ate though. It wasn't too expensive either, something like 80,000 Lire.

I make a very good tiramisu, very light and tantalising to the mouth. Also, I love cannoli, but not have had it for years because Salt Lake City does not have much for the Italian American community besides Caputo's. For Christmas, I always bake pinenut cookies, or pignellos (I think thats what it is called.) Delicous!

As for main dishes, I have enjoyed some incredible Italian food. Recently for my birthday in July, we went to an Italian restaurant, where I ate a watermelon salad with watercress leaves and something like feta cheese, it was amazing! Then I had pasta with tomatoes and mint... very light and delicous. For dessert, I had baked fig with honey ice cream. It was pure orgasm.

I stayed in Italy for 3 months with my best friend. The food is so champ!

I love italian food. I couldn't give up eating it bec I am italian. Only one thing I refused to eat is VEAL!! I hate it. I love to have olives on Pizza or Salad. Olives is my fave!!
 
I love italian foods except anything with seafoods and olive in it. I am allergic to seafood so thats why I can't have it. My fave are Veal Scollopini, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, Minestrone soup, Veal and Chicken Parmigana and garlic bread. Gosh! I feel fatter already! lol
