Favorite beer(s)?

This is a repost, I have created a similar thread ages ago.. Unfortunately.

Time goes on. Threads come and go. Newer threads may gain attention at that moment in time while an older thread, same in purpose and goal, may be reserved for those yesterday.

I wouldn't mind seeing it locked, since most people don't even like real beer.

That's ok. I guess there aren't many Deaf homebrewers or brewers out there and that's fine. I can take advantage of that.

I, for one, brew my own. It's fun to consume something you've made yourself. Beer is a passion . . . and, yes, it's not everybody's passion. I see no reason to close a thread just because of those who don't appreciate.

That's good but at the same time, if people can't contribute anything meaningful, they shouldn't even try contributing.

Let them do what they can. They want to give - maybe not the way you want.

Shel, I read this blog; A Good Beer Blog and I am member on BrewSocial | LivingSocial

and many highly recommend this site: Beer Advocate - Respect Beer.

Many beer store that sells micro-brewed bottled beers or international beers such like that do sells home brewing kits...

for example, I used to live in Rochester and I from time to time visit "Beer of the World" I have seen bunch of kits which tempted me but no room in my dorm room eh. :) here's article on that: Beer Shop: Beers of the World, Rochester, New York - A Good Beer Blog

For wiki on homebrewing: Homebrewing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cheers!

I frequent Beer Advocate as well and there's a group of deafies in my area that brew as well.

Definitely check out those links. I can answer questions as well.

Many thanks! Maybe I can learn to brew beer and surprise my Hubby. He said he has always wanted to brew beer at home rather than buying beer. If I sound ignorant or stupid about it, it is because I am a newbie to this.

Just hope when I return to work on Monday, my job wont consume my time like it did last year so I can have time for new hobbies.

Thanks!

Ok..best for me to read thru them and then ask questions afterwards. :)

If you understand the basic principles of winemaking, you should have no problem making beer.

I'm fidgeting to make my next batch.
