What is your favorite Christmas song? Mine is, “Pretty Paper” I don’t know that anyone else sings it but Glen Campbell. Part of the song talks about a beggar and how in the hustle and bustle of the season, shoppers pass by him but pay him no attention. Those who do notice him, “in a hurry my how time does fly”. Everyone is so happy it is Christmas after all, “and in the midst of the laughter he cries”. So with the pretty paper pretty ribbons you wrap your pretty gifts to your loved ones, remember there are some lonely people. Some less fortunate. Some people who have no one. If you see some one sad this season try to give them some cheer. It’s more of a sad song for Christmas but it has a beautiful melody and meaning.

My favorite Christmas song is, "Oh Holy Night." That's been my favorite Christmas song for as long as I can remember. :)

Here's is top 3 song favorite list are:

"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" is the number #1!
"We Wish You A Merry Christmas" is number #2.
"Here Comes Santa Claus" is number #3.

(I'm sorry, I am deaf; however, I could say that them are
my favorite Christmas song titles)

Is this the same song written and sung by Willie Nelson? I think Carly Simon and Roy Orbison sang it, too. (Different years) Yes, it's one of the sad Christmas songs.

PRETTY PAPER

Pretty paper pretty ribbons of blue
Wrap your presents to your darling from you
Pretty pencils to write I love you pretty paper pretty ribbons of blue

Crowded streets busy feet hustle by you downtown shoppers Christmas is nigh
There he sits all alone on the sidewalk hoping that you won't pass him by
Should you stop better not much too busy better hurry my how time does fly
And in the distance the ringing of laughter and in the midst of the laughter he cries
Pretty paper pretty ribbons of blue...
Oh oh pretty paper pretty ribbons of blue

I have always liked "Jingle Bells" growing up. I guess I liked the repeative lyrics which made it easy for me to memorize and try to sing it along with my classmates in grade school.

Holy cow!!! I tried singing "Jingle Bells" to myself and I completely forgot the lyrics after "Oh what fun it is to ride a 1 horse open sleigh" After that it is a complete blank! Wow...
