I joined AllDeaf so that I could learn more about the deaf culture as my daughter is deaf. Earlier this week I was recalled to active duty and decided to go. Truth is I am a crap father but serving 15 years in my beloved marine corps taught me how to kill and I do it well.
I retired from the marine corps in 2010 and then had a lot of trouble readjusting to civilian life. I thought my chances of ever getting back in were nil due to my criminal convictions obtained while out but it seems I've been given a moral waiver and my full rank GySgt(E7) has been restored.
Only thing I can think of is that the russia thing is more dire than the media lets on and since I'm fluent in russian guessing that's where I will be ending up at some point.
I am hopping onto a plane headed for san diego, california soon and will be shipping out early next week. So feel free to delete my profile or whatever.
