Farewell, Dear Friend

I am completely with you. This whole war thing isn't about iraq, it's about the young men and women who come back, and we need to support them. My father is a veteran of vietnam, and he had severe emotional trauma and now has all sorts of medical problems, including being exposed to agent orange. All the while, I watch as one VA hospital after another closes, and the funds drying up, all under the pretense of "trying to save the hospitals and benefits". This is a sad country where any of our men who fought are without help, and sometimes without homes.

Beowulf...Im truly sorry to hear of your friend's passing...
and it is so nice of him to give u his purple heart too..awww!
I truly feel for those injured and lonely soldiers in VA hospitals, thats why
i send contributions to Veterans of Foreign Wars and Paralyzed Veterans
of America..two of my favorite charities..i think they deserve our attention
and help from us cuz they fought for our freedom which is not free as you all well know that.
My ex-fiance's younger brother was killed in Vietnam so it has been real hard on him and his family...i still stay in touch with him. He says he still misses him a lot..it still does breaks my heart too. This little brother of his was such a sweet kid, was only l9 years old when he was killed after stepping on a land mine...this is why im sending money to these above mentioned places.

RIP, he must be over 95 cuz my grandfather was veteran of WW1 and he died in 81, he was 85 years old and my father was veteran of WW2 and he would be 83 years old this year.
U right about Iraq veterans. My neice married one from gulf war, he has not been working for many years because of bad headache and bedridden all the time. Real sad. I don't want her to get pregnant with him for fear of deformed baby.

I am sure Chuck's final days were blessed - he did, after all have a wonderful friend. I will keep Chuck in my thoughts.
