I have to say something.
This is the time when shopkeepers and neighbors start smiling at each other, when lights of goodwill start being strung around houses, when television shows cute elves in their red outfits. It all sounds good but that is only if you are totally brainwashed by the boob tube, that tv set. That tv is SO POWERFUL, it shapes how you think, more or less.
But never mind that.
Think about Fallujah. Think about families gathering together in fear of a military assault. Think. What if you live in Fallujah?
What does Iraq have to do with 911? Think!

Now we are set to repeat Stalingrad, where "insurgents" defeated a mighty German Army?
The world is watching and you accept this blind killing as a sort of command from God..?
I feel so ashamed...

That is indeed baffled many free-thinking americans & 80% of the world.

About TV, that's why I rarely watch. I only watch few tv shows, never for news and such. They all are modified to support the certain groups.

Yes, I am thinking about Fallujah. I am thinking about the innocent civilian contractors that were killed, burned, and mutilated by evil men with hatred in their hearts. I am thinking about the explosives that were rigged in the Fallujah school house, set to go off and kill their own children so they could blame the American soldiers. I think about the terrorists using their own holy shrines for plotting attacks and building bombs. I think about the Fallujahn cowards hiding behind women and children.

What if I lived in Fallujah? If I was decent and wanted a better world for my children, I would do all I could to defeat the terrorists in my town. I would NOT support and hide them.

The American troops have given the women, children, and elderly men plenty of time to leave the city. They have been warned to evacuate. It is their own cowardly "men" who prevent them from escaping death.

I don't cry for Fallujah. I am crying for the good lives that are destroyed by creatures who behave worse than animals.

Keep in mind please that terorists may threat them if they didn't help and hide them.

I would add one more thing about war but I decided to against that because I want to save it as evidences to debate with you in other topic.

WHO calls them "terrorists?

Just YOU and the media, Reba.
They are NOT terrorists.
They are fighting for their country.
They are HEROES in the eyes of Fallujah citizens.

Now the word is out that we finally started assaulting Fallujah.
Of course the first thing the military did was seize the hospitals, and I know why...So we will not know how many casualties there are. Medical people are begging to be allowed into the war zone to help, but they are being denied access.
The guerillas of Fallujah will probably get wiped out, but so will most of the women and children, too. That is because there is NO WAY of knowing who the guerillas are, they mix with the population...heck, they ARE the population. So, in going door-to-door, the military smnply must kill everyone they see.
End of story.

I call anyone a terrorist who kidnaps, kills, and mutilates civilian contractors who are trying to help Iraqis rebuild their country.

I call anyone a terrorists who kills his own countries police officers.

I call anyone a terrorist who uses car bombs to kill any person passing by.

Those people are NOT fighting for their country. They are killing some of their own people. They are destroying their own buildings, utilities, and infrastructure. Some of the terrorists in Iraq are not even Iraqi.

How does kidnapping and killing aid workers help their country?

You really don't know anything about the military and warfare.

Wasn't Fallujah the place where the US army stormed not too long ago? Like a couple days back?

LOL!!!!!!
FOX NEWS?????
Let's see, the only reporters in Fallujah are "embedded reporters" who have no choice but to believe everything the military tells them, and this time the news are from an Iraq commander...
Sorry, no dice.
It will take a while to get at the truth, but since Fox has no credibility whatsoever, we will need to wait for more reliable sources.

You have a good memory.
We stormed that city in April but were defeated.

FOX NEWS?????

Here are some other sources:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/11/10/iraq.main/index.htm
Troops find hostage 'slaughterhouses' in Falluja[/quote]

FALLUJA, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi troops retaking the city of Falluja have found hostage "slaughterhouses" where people were held captive and beheaded, an Iraqi military official said Wednesday.

Soldiers have found CDs labeled "beheading of ..." and showing the beheadings of hostages.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3998049.stm

Earlier, the chief spokesman for the joint US-Iraqi operation in Falluja, Maj Gen Abdul Qader Mohan, told reporters that Iraqi troops had found houses where hostages had been held and "slaughtered".

If you don't like these, tell me which news service you do trust so I can look at it.

Why do you say Fox News is unreliable?

I guess the headline from CNN:
Troops find hostage 'slaughterhouses' in Falluja

I guess Fox news paid off CNN, huh?

How about Reuters?
Iraq Forces Find Falluja 'Hostage Slaughterhouses'

How about the Associated Press:
Iraq troops find 'hostage slaughterhouses'

So...Exactly how is Fox unreliable and making this story up? What is the unreliable source for all of the above information? If Fox is so biased, I doubt these other networks would carry such a false story, correct?

As for biased media, here is something for you. Have you ever right clicked on a picture and you get the little windows pop-up box with that images properties? Look at the following screenshot taken from the CNN website. Look closely at the name of the photo depicting George Bush:

A nice article I read today pretty much sums what what I feel and think...
http://www.mediachannel.org/views/dissector/affalert288.shtml

One needs a LOT of discernment nowadays in trying to decide which information to pay attention to, and I like the following definition of "discernment"---
"The practice of discernment is part of higher consciousness. Discernment is not just a step up from judgement. In life's cirriculum, it is the opposite of judgement. Through judgement a man reveals what he needs to confront and learn. Through discernment, one reveals what he has mastered."
---Quote from "Love Without End" by Glenda Green

I would NOT stake my life on ANYTHING I read---All I can do is to read as much variety on a subject as possible and try to "read between the lines."

I don't think anybody would disagree with you on that. Its the smart thing to do to gather information from different sources. But I'm not sure what any of that has to do with saying Fox news was unreliable with a story that the other networks were carrying too.

Actually, Netscape. Not CNN. This didn't happen on the CNN website, but the Netscape website. Netscape associate with CNN by taking their stories and post it onto the Netscape website. Somebody on the Netscape team was responsible for this a-hole picture.

holy shit...somebody've been shot in the head against the wall!
