what would you do if you faint?? What would you do if you saw someone faints?? Do you have any experiences with FAINT or seen someone FAINTS?

I, for one, fainted of all places in a church when I was a teenager and in doing so, embarrassing my own dad-- It all happened one typical Sunday morning, while getting ready at home, I mentioned to my parents that I wasn't feeling quite too well, my mother insisted that I go as it was my turn to light the candles in the sanctuary that day. Again I bemoaned about not feeling so well during the ride to church...after lighting the candles and taking my place up in the sanctuary near where our pastors sat, then during the course of the first hymn, standing up and suddenly feeling really awfully woozy and the next thing I knew I was on the floor on my knees and hands looking up at the pastor standing up in front of the congregation, at the moment, not only did I realized the fan that had been in front of me was knocked over, but the whole church (between 300-350 people in the congregation) had stopped singing...when I had fainted, my chin hit the top of the metallic fan creating a loud noise and cutting my chin open. Of course, I had bloodied the white garment that I was wearing at the time and required a few stitches as well. Some have told me that why didn't you sit down once you felt dizzy...welllll, heck, it all happened so fast and quickly!!

Whether or not this incident was an embarrassment to my parents, but heck, I'll tell ya, that was my 15 minutes of fame!....

Awww Roadrunner  It's must be nice to have 15 minutes of fame LOL!!!

When I am working at the rib cook-offs, I've seen prenty of people that faint from heat strokes, tasting our hot sause etc and even our crews sometimes fainted cause of working 15 to 16 hours a day in the heat and humdity weather, there are times my dad send our crews back to the hotel, but not Cheri and I, we just try to keep ourselves cool as much as we can, also my dad sometimes brings or buy fans to help a bit, usually they don't help much cause too much heat from the grills and smoker that running, and it makes it worse....but that will happen when we are doing a show....that's why there's a red cross near by every show, in case something happened to the crews or people that comes to the rib events....

Angel, I am sure you know this but next time y'all are at a cook-off in sweltering heat, force yourself to drink triple the water you normally drink.

Are you going to pass out again for 15 mintues when you say "I do" to Angel next summer?

We had this Christmas tradition at a church that my parents used to attend, Every year there is a Christmas navity which we dressed up, stand outside for a couple hours, just standing still. I felt like I was going to faint in a moment after standing still in three hours period of time, My head was going woozy, and I told my step mother I am gotta passed out soon, And she state we will take a break in 15 minutes when the lights goes off, I was so patience trying to hang on, there was a time I couldn't hang on any longer, I fall face down to the ground.

There was another time I attend a church with my deaf friend when I was pregnant, I had morning sickness and feeling yuck that day, We were standing up singing along with the choir, and I fainted right in front of the Priest, He thought I was praying on his feet, but then recovered that I actually had passed out.
