The important thing is, Obama did not commit to a quick massage and run on the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
:jaw:

I watched the Obama speech in Germany live on TV. It was
Not stirring like the way JFK and Reagan speeches were.

I find his speech is positive. :) I can´t translate into English for everything what he said on TV today... I will update the article about him when it comes tomorrow for us to read.

Make short: He said that he do not come to Germany as US presidental candidate but US citizen. He talk about 47 million US has no healthcare insurance... Berlin Wall... his love for America... One point, I thought you would find his speech over Afghanistan war good when I watched his speech on TV? He said he want us Europeans support US for Afghanistan war because Afghan people need our troops and support to against Taliban and Al-Qaeda and develop their economy.... NATO nations should provide more troops....

To my view, he is very nice and have polite manner. He has a good quality to get along with people with different cultures. He is a respectful person.

My hubby & I are very impressed over his speech.

Ha ha ha it is full of crap. It is clear that he has politicial ulterior motives to come there. If he claimed he came there as US citizen, then more and more Americans should have same equal opportunity as him to make speeches in the same place.

Thank God I am not blinded by this kind of mania.

I hope that Obama will visit some Asian countries, such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Metro Manila or India.

It's impressed for US president candidate to trip to other countries to gain their experience about foreign stuff.

That's so funny! Politics is the absolutely only reason he went to Germany. Did the crowd keep a straight face when he said that?

That's a great idea! The more time he spends overseas, the less time we have to put up with his campaigning in the USA. :P

It will not be very far, it will take around 2 weeks to 1 month to get done with visit some of Asian cities, it's great for gain the experience on foreign stuff, just in my opinion.

He will visit around USA after that.

Hong Kong for all way, tons of sexy skyscrapers and blast with numerous different of culture and diversity.

So? What's your problem, McCain...

If Obama choose to go Germany then let him. Why do you complaint for when you are plan to meet Dalai Lama in Aspen on Friday?

Dalai Lama always meet politicians, actors and community leaders because he wants to spread his message of harmony and struggle for Tibet. I am sure he is willing to accept a meeting with Obama. Nothing is wrong with it. McCain did not go out to have speech in Germany or France cuz he would knew it was an electioneering.

Exactly!

The trip to Europe and Middle East is a great advantage for Obama to understand the peace and freedom for our world how it should be.

 Get the fact straight. It would look Obama use us and troops as a political if he visit wounded American soliders at the hospital to get votes but he didn't...

I laughed sooo hard to learn that McCain complaint that Obama didn't visit troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but Obama did... and then look for an excuse to against Obama's oversea trip... then look for another excuse to accuse Obama for disrespect wounded troops for not visit them at hospitial... I bet McCain would criticized Obama to use the troops to raise his votes if he visit the hospitail!

It show itself is McCain is two-faced!!!!
