I just wonder if/what would you eloped to marry ??

In my 20's, I have friend who lives in Cailforina. I have no idea when I get to see her and they talked about eloped to Las Vegas. I was LOST and asking them what is up ?

They planned to go to Las Vegas to be married and I realized they are eloped!

FYI - it was 1993 and they are christians......

No, we wouldn't because we want our families and friends to be a big part of our wedding...

i definity will have wedding maybe small one depend on my future fiancee moods about wedding lol

i want a wedding yeah

FYI: i am not engage

If I ever ever ever even lose my senses for a sec and decide to get married, I will elope.

some poeple elope for all the different reasosn, one for the spur of the moment, 2 for the reason being sometimes they can't afford the money and most of the reason is pregant reason so the baby wouldn't be born out of wedlock

as for me would i want to elope nope unless money doesnt' permit me to have a good wedding. then yah we would have a VERY small wedding with only our families. but 99.9% i ll be having a big wedding.

Well, I got eloped to my husband. I only have my parents, and his parents and immediately family to watch up marry. Overall was around 20 people and I was freaking HUGE when I got married (I was 6 months pregnant). We only paid 30 bucks for the wedding, and plus the wedding rings, and that was all we did.

We are celebrating our 4 years of marriage and it was all happy years.

I know some of the people do eloped in Vegas, chapel in out of the place like Maryland, Virginia, etc, to save a lo to money, and don't want to get married in front of the people and don't have to dress up in fancy dress, etc, I am sure people have the reason to get elope.

I would love to elope but I want my kids and close friends to witness the first day of a happy and loving marriage so will settle for a nice intimate and quiet wedding so that everyone can be a part of our marriage for years to come.

Eloping sounds so romantic but I think it is for these who have no kids or family/friends living far apart or low on money or just doing it on an impulse.

i eloped last july 3 2000 not only my husband feels unfair with my family in other country couldnt afford to fly here also we're young, 22 n 20, live ourselves couldnt afford wedding

I'd like to elope this time but chris wants a wedding. I've been married once, chris has never married.

I come from a large, traditional, conservative family that values heritage, chivalry and pedigree.

I cannot even begin to imagine myself eloping; I want a wedding that includes all the people important to me and the bride. My family is very warm and accepting, and I can't imagine not sharing the process of marriage with them.

Sometimes we like to joke and make references to the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. You can sometimes say we're like that!

ah like small wedding not huge wedding? Am I correct? :) .. hehe I never marry before and I am still young lady lol

small or big wedding not alike elope, just pay for certificate n go chapel get married n go back district for record, done

wedding many spend on n work on decorating, dinner party e.t.c.

but elope may be dinner another day like my husband's cousin got married, eloped, in hawaii only her n him then came back home in idaho, at upriver have party got presents

i really would like to wear wedding dress good memory pix, i understood i didnt have enough money i came to start work to live at the beginning here :) i would help my daughters wedding if they like to ;)

Eloping is when you go to a shady place in Las Vegas only with your significant other. The empty-suit-on-duty says "I now pronounce thee husband and wife."

Then you are husband and wife. And the empty-suit-on-duty returns to down another bottle of Southern Comfort. ;)

eloping is nothing wrong.

my grandparent did elope in alabama when they were in high school in atlanta even their parents didnt know or approve and now day they were still in mad love to each other for 64 years. they had beautiful lives.(my grandpa passed away in 5 yrs ago.)

my other friends parent did elope after they just met at truck stop (i think)within 2 wks and they r still married for 40 yrs.

some people prefer eloping for their reasons.
