Yayyyyyy!

Our office building is going to be the first in Southland to be using the Electroluminescent Light Tiles!

These are the larger versions of the flat night lights people have been using in their bathrooms. Theyre 12 inches by 14 inches and they are even more efficient than the fluroscent lighting that it will replace in our building.

Theyre mighty expensive too. And I'm excited we're moving on into the future.

Hmm... I wonder how much electricity they use compared to regular light bulbs. :dunno:

Very small amt of electricity! IT don't use much. I believe less than 2 or 3 cents a month. It uses 120v Alternating Current to make it works. It'll be nice to have it on every house lighting. Believe me that it'll power up using 6v battery w/ micro high voltage transformer and switching transistors...

. Mobile devices like Sidekick, BB, Laptops ect powered by it for lighting up the display behind LCD screen.

Why don't you post it on General Blog "Anyone going Green".

This would be the best thing in the world!! YOu can even use it as a flasher. It won't damage it. Soon that someday newer house and building using it will be concealed. w/ ceiling ect. You just simply flick the switch and see the light lit in a nice view LOL. You still can use dimmer too.
