DVD subtitles solution

Those who has anger problems with the DVD player that doesn't show subtitles as it's suppose to or if the DVD doesn't support subtitles, then the only solution is to get Xbox 360, I recently bought it and I put in my movies, and TV CC works great with it. I'm really glad that Xbox 360 can do it.

PS2 and PS3 can do it too, I'm sure.
 
Just chuck the DVD player out of the window and get a Blu ray Disc Player, problem solved, son.

Are you using HDTV with through HDMI or component video for watching
with CC on Xbox 360, because Xbox 360 does have CC built-in like
digital cable box?

No, Xbox 360 doesn't have CC decoder built-in, except for software that only work in media center that require connect to PC. Xbox 360 will get CC directly from TV, it would work if TV support in composite or s-video, in some cases for component cable.

What software in Xbox 360 are you using to playback DVD movies and display CC?

Also, what kind of video cable connection between Xbox and TV? Is it HDMI, DVI, Component (3 video cables), Composite (single cable), S-Video (Single cable with multiple pins)?

Oh, the component, 3 video cables. I wa thinking about HDMI, but I don't think it supports that, but who knows.
