Ok, I cant find the other thread that I started on this... well, here is the update...

I went to renew my DL today, took 2 hours and no one was there.. The computer system froze up and they had to get a service tech to address it.... anyways,
All went smooth as I didnt expect it to, except the computer glitch, the lady was really nice, she wrote down questions for me and all that stuff. I asked her if there was a way to put in the system I am deaf and she said yes, it is a code so the officers know when they run your information. The code is J88 and they put it in a little box on the DL.. No restrictions were added as I never had any restrictions so all is good. Finally got the system up and running, took my picture and I was out the door. Have to carry a full sheet of paper with me for about a week ( temp DL ) until the new one comes in the mail. Also had my address change to the new house, everything will follow suite

No one's there - no people that come in for DMV service? Wow! Around here, we always have LONG line for it! Even people started to line up at 7 AM.

Look down at the quote of what sonocativo said. There may have been people by before him that left when they found out about the computer.

Its a pretty small town here, Im in the city limits, but its not big, mostly farm land and woods once you get out of town, My house is right on the outskirt of the city just down the road from the DOR. I am walking distance to everything, all within 1/2 mile.

It could have been busy in the morning, I went right about lunch hour, there were 4 people in for plates/tags but noone for their DL... guess it was my lucky day...lol It is usually crowded at times but more into the evenings is when Ive always been there before. It was nice not being in a crowd at the DOR for once.

During, hidden traffic camera caught on me for failed stopping and turn right drove away. They send a letter delivered to my home and I shocked about I got fined and proof of picture from traffic camera also, go to traffic school or increase auto insurance rates....

Few months later, I was confused about "I'm good driver" discount for renewal auto insurance rates when I received a mail... and, than I found out about I heard DMV dept's computers has been crashed or glitched. My ticket history has been gone.

and... I received a mail from DMV. "congrats, renewal driver license approved" due to my old DL has been expired. I laughed so laugh. I'm clean driver record now.

We dont have to pay the red light camera tickets... its a scam. There is no way to enforce it. Yes might be your car/plates but can they prove who was driving....nope

No, these kinds of camera busted in action usually don't cause you to have points. Only a police officer who busted you and report, then you get points which will be reported to your Insurance agency.

If one decided to dispute with camera bust, usually they will be found guilty and it will add to points in DMV. So best just STFU and pay fine and you will be fine.

Same applies if you get speeding ticket or whatever violations you have outside of your state, that state usually don't report to your state DMV UNLESS you failed to pay fine and/or appear court.

I beg to differ on that, there was a full article out recently on the red light cameras, a judge ruled them unconstitutional so people are not paying them... it was all a scare tactic and a revenue generator. I will find the article and post it... it was pretty recent.

Very interesting, I'm not sure if I should have J88 added to my license.

Try those number plate license confuse to camera?

Right, I am totally opposed to this stupid law., it represents our government as tyranny. But from my understand how this law is written. It will issue you ticket, and paying fine will not cause points to add on these offenders DMV records. The points add on offender's DMV records only can be done though police officer in presence.

I know one way that works like charm, but it is illegal in all 50 states. Only way to make is homemade and little know how to, and where to find parts. Gotta to understand how photography works. Wish I can share the secret, otherwise I'd be in trouble. It didn't show on mythbuster, hence they don't want to be responsible for breaking law.

I have a simpler solution that costs nothing and it's legal.

Don't run red lights.
