ok looking around, a lot of people are just putting Religous posts in everything, and trying to get people to believe what they believe. and also saying that we dont believe in god, or that we lost faith.

dont talk to me about god. dont try to push on me what u believe. at the end of the day, my relationship with god is between me and him. i dont care what u want to believe, if ur an atheist, a buddhist, a jew, a monk...i dont care what ur religion is. i accept all religions, i welcome them. i myself, im a Gnostic Christian. i believe in God and jesus, i just dont believe in Hell or Satan. and thats what i believe. if u dont want to believe in God, thats cool. you do what u feel comfortable with. cuz u know what? god doesn't care. he's not stupid, he understands what is going on.

I don't understand. If you are strong in your beliefs, why should it bother you to read posts about other beliefs? No one forces you to read them, or believe them. How can someone "push" on you to believe? They aren't using physical force or job coercion or blackmail are they? Maybe they are just giving you something to think about.

AJ, a person will change only if s/he wants to. You cannot control the way others choose to do these things, but you can certainly share your ideas. So can they. We only have one world... we gotta learn to share it. That means taking responsibility for ourselves, too.

I find that often people project their issues into each other... and that creates drama.. nothing to do with beliefs, but a distorted sense of self entitlement on the ego's part (the irrational need to control situations and people). Doesnt matter who does that. Anyone is capable of that. Even me!

By the way... I prefer no labels when it comes to defining creed for me. I'd say quite a mixture of it all for me... one quiz once placed me close to Buddhism, though.

Well, if Hell and Satan don't exist, then how come there's always a war ? Why hate is still around ? How about killin' ? It wasn't God's way of makin' people to do it. It wasn't God's Idea to create somethin' like this for other people to learn. He never taught them to do that. God is always good ! I don't think it is a good idea to start arguin' or fightin' over this silly issue since you still have your own choices. No body could take that choices from you. You have your own life you can chose what ever you want and that is your decision to make for yourself. Why makin' things soo hard on yourself, hmm ?

On the other hand, I do somewhat undy what AJ is saying. It's kind of like those people who go around and distrubuate tracts and fliers on HOW THEIR BELIEF is the ONLY WAY to SALVATION!!!!
Some people here are very "holier then thou" about their beliefs. While I admire the intensity of their beliefs, one thing that turns me off, is the "holier then thou" attitude that they have.

for ur first question, i dont believe in Adam and Eve or noahs arc or anything like that.

ur second question....its a whole lot of information to talk about, and u wont understand.

in my beliefs, when we are in heaven we write our lives, like a script. we write every single detail we want to happen to us. then we take it to god and if he thinks its too hard for us, he tells us to rewrite it. once he approves u come to earth.

now there ARE dark spirits. dark spirits kill for no reason except for to kill. and what happens to those people is that they either stay on earth as a dark spirit. OR angels take them to heaven in kind of like a holding pen until they become light again. im not sure really i haven't read that part, ill have to go over it again.

so everything happens for a reason, it truly does. dont ask me what the reason is, i dont know. im not god. but why did 9/11 happen? those people wrote down in their life script, or chart, that they will die this way to help other people learn to come together. as a Nation we all came together because of 9/11. we became more patriotic.

but im not gonna be able to answer everything cuz im still learning about the Gnostic religion.

well except for people who kill themselves. when someone kills themself they are reborn right away. because they have not learned their lessons on earth.

ok in heaven, or the other side, there are different levels of spirits. he was such a higher spirit than we are. i asked my friend that same question. i said, how in the world could jesus forgive the men that were about to kill him...and i cant even deal with this kid in AD (u know who im talking about) she said cuz jesus was so much more spiritually advanced than we are.

jesus is my brother because we both came from god. so he's ur brother too.

yeah there are lots of books there's actually a Gnostic Bible i found at the library. that thing is real thick. thicker than a Christian bible. but not any easier to read. and also if u know Sylvia Browne...u know that physcic lady who predicts the future. she is a Gnostic and she writes about all this stuff in her books. she even has a Gnostic church in california that i would like to go to one day maybe.

but yeah to go the library and look up Sylvia Browne. she has like i think 30 or more books she has written. and almost all of them have been on New Yorks Best Sellers List.

um, ive tried to read some of the christian bible but its hard to understand so i stopped. some things in the bible are true, but there are also some things not true.

im not trying to tell u DONT believe in the bible.

but, when i thought about it....the bible has been passed through many hands. and it has been written over and over so that it could be passed on. well...couldn't those people have written their OWN ideas in the bible? and said oh yeah uhhhh god said u must pay the kingdom 50 bucks every tuesday. and the people say...yeah right we aren't paying u. and the man says well its in the bible! god said it! u must obey.

obviously thats not in the bible im just using an example. my point is, over the years people could have written, and probably wrote their own ideas into the bible so people would follow them.

but i dont really have hard feelings against the bible, if u want to read the bible until ur blue in the face go ahead, it doesnt' bother me.

Did you know that there no best bible out there, You can choose your own bible whatever fit your reading skills, like me I choose the best bible that I can easy understood for myself.

Anyway, Thanks for explaining what you believe in, It's not my place to judge or tell you that you're wrong in what you believe. I let others believe what they wish to believe, I only care about myself in what I believe, I follow the bible and the bible is the only book that I would put my whole faith in.
