How come the Los Angeles city attorney can't cite Arnold Schwarzenegger ("Governor won't get citation for unlicensed bike debacle," Jan. 12, Page A-5)? They do it all the time. Is it because he's the governor or a famous actor?
Yes.
He confessed to doing it, so give him a ticket; he can afford it. If that's what it takes, then California should release all the people they did not witness committing a crime and cancel all upcoming court cases based on hearsay or confessions.
Just because he is the governor does not give him the right to break the law. He should have to pay a fine and apologize to the people of California. He should set an example of being a law-abiding citizen.
It sounds not fair because he is famous, he did not have to go to Court because he break the law. He does not have a license bike debacle.
