I listen to it all the time at work (Internet Radio). Not so much at home (too busy) :D Let me see, I prefer instrumentals and some vocals. My favorite stuff is New Age (love Kitaro), Native American, 70's rock, some jazz, gospel and Christian music. Can't stand Rap, Hard Rock.

so you don't think alan jackson, garth brooks, tim mcgraw, keith urban, brad pasily, kenny chesney are country

Nope. Too high tech and it destroys country music as it should be played. Kenny Chesney? :ugh: Surely you jest! Keith Urban . . . oh please! He ain't country, he isn't anything except top 40, which, by the way, is NOT country. Country music, true country music, tells a story of ones life or another. Most have their vocals augmented and improved (questionably) today, for the profit of the record company, not the music. Go back to the early part of the 1900s through the 1970s, which is traditional country. Traditional country stops at Randy Travis and Ricky Skaggs (I believe he's actually bluegrass, as his wife's family, The Whites).

I've seen enough of AJ (Alan Jackson) to let him in; some of GB's (Garth Brooks) is questionable.

Might I add . . . in 7th grade, some boys in my gym class asked me about country music because our choir teacher told them (different class than my choir class) that I could name every single country singer and group. This was about 1976-77, not unlike today, except there are hundreds out there now hoping for that hit and impossible to name them all.

thats really cool .. i use to be able to name most of alot of 70s rock bands when i was kid in school because thats what grew up on besides mo- town music. :)

yes i love music.. i love country music, soft rock n roll, jazz, classicals, blues, but not heavy or rap musics.. i cant undy words.. ugh. forget it.. lol :)

I'm that way too! I can't stand heavy metal and hardcore rap music... but I like to listen to hip-hop from the early 80's every now and then. Anyway, my all-time favorite type of music are the Oldies (50's to 70's) , Swings from the 40's (Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman...) and the Blues! The only time I'll listen to classical music is when I wanna to relax or fall asleep lol

I listen mostly to video game music, jazz, and most other kinds of music without words. I do listen to oldies too, but I mainly prefer music that doesn't have any words. I like music itself.
