He kinda look like the guy on "Happy days" but it's been a long time since I seen that show.

So the answer is: No.

Good God I can't believe people don't know who Norman Bates is! He's the psycho! The first time I ever heard of MPD, and I was 11 or 12 when I watched it the first time.

I have seen the movie but only once and i didn't really cared for it. Is it the same movie where the movie was on a rocking chair in skeleton?

Of course, I don't care for any psycho movies. Silent of the lamb, movies made for women network (they got some really psycho movies), etc.

yes it is, but don't say more lest this thread turns into a spoiler for those that haven't watched it yet. I have the complete Hannibal Lecter DVD collection, spooky but good stuff.

Master Bates.... uhhhh, Mister Bates is the reason an entire generation of women wont shower alone!

Yes, I remembered Norman Bates as a character, even though his real name as an actor is Anthony Perkins. I did watch some of his movies, mostly black and white films. I could not believe that he had portray as the only character in all of the Psycho series. I think he might have portray another character in another movie, not sure. :dunno: He is awfully handsome for being a psycho.

thats the whole idea, 'being awfully handsome' to shake the audience of the appearances-attached-to-evil-looks routine thus giving 'more meaning to' Pyscho..., the newer horror films American Psycho and American Psycho:An American Girl, uses the similar approach... BUT on the other hand, subtle facial feature ARE deliberately delicately picked... in such a way so their 'acting faces' does show us 'feigned evil' otherwise the film experience in its entirety is not intact. Such subtle features may be the wide lips, narrow eyes, long noses, high cheeks but 'embodied' in good looking faces... same thing applied to all sorts of 'stereotype characters' Jack Palance tall spooky ghastly character, Christopher Lyoyd was similar picked for tall, crazy scientise due to his ability to make his eyes 'wild' (with imagination', or well an intensified visioning of sorts' similarly this very same eye staring ability goes go with many other actors for say, 'cheating disloyal, or scheming characters' or might do it different to 'look determined and 'honest' hence a stereo typed 'goodie'.. it can go on and on..frankly im not even sure under what subject heading this is, 'not bullshit' lol OK just because I havent seen the textbooks on movie/makeups/actor selection in depth doesnt mean there isn't any...even if there is not, its bound to be written or journalled by perhap make up artist(s) who had lots of experience with big budget producers for example, someone like Rick Baker or Chief make up artist Paul Engelen..but my other guess way its never 'written' is perhaps for two reasons; a) 'it being closely guarded secrets' and B) they never had the time.

Yes, I do know him. I remember I used to watch all his movies. They were good.

I've heard of him all the time. A necrophile, dead mom fucker. Off-screen, he was a fag, one of Ian McKellen's first lover, and died of full-blown AIDS.
