Do you remember about Disney Channel used to be premium in 80's and 90's?

When Disney Channel was premium so there were no annoying commercial but after show and other show, they usually show documentaries about how movie made or tour the Disneyland or Disney World.

I found some shows to refresh my memory.
Good Morning Mickey
Mickey Mouse Tracks
Donald Quack Attack
DuckTales
Bonkers
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers
Donald Duck Presents
TaleSpin
Rupert
Under the Umbrella Tree
Adventures in Wonderland
The Mickey Mouse Club
Mousercise

Nearly all those shows above appear on Disney Channel during premium era before transition to basic channel.

Today, I don't like all shows on Disney Channel and XD because most of them are sitcom and crappy cartoon, even mostly shows don't show Disney characters, except for Mickey Clubhouse. I heard about Disney Junior and they are commercial free. Disney Junior seems to be less crappy than Disney Channel because Disney Channel used to be mostly cartoon in past. I'm not happy about Toon Disney was gone but used to watch frequently when I was young adult (2005-2007).

Growing up there were such great shows for families: Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, The Lawrence Welk Show (for my Nonna), The Facts of Life, The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, and every Sunday at 7 PM: The Wonderful World of Disney....today there's nothing but garbage for children. It really saddens me the sorry state of television for both our children and our seniors. Everything is for shock value now.

i dont know how to start a thread so i ask on here...i followed everyone loves raymond but missed last episode and it never showed on uk tv to my knowledge...could someone tell me how it ended did family stay together

My friend told me if I want MTV, Nick, USA, CNN, TBS, etc so require to have cable box (like picture above) because TV didn't support CATV until late 80's/early 90's.

When many TV support CATV but you still require to have cable box for Disney Channel due to premium channel, just like HBO and Showtime.
