I don't think it will hurt him anymore than all the supposed "scandals" they attempted to connect to him during the campaign.

Byrdie, I would like to know how did Ill. Gov. Rod Blagojevich get in there in the first place ? Did Obama pick him to work for him before the FBI caught him ( Rod Blagojevich ) ?

In Illinois, as in all the states in this nation, the Governor's office is an elected position, not an appointed one.:roll:
 
Never mind. I just thought that Obama picked him to work for him. Now, I get it that Ill. Gov. Rod Blagojevich wants to sell/or trade Obama's Senate seat in Chicago.

It's wrong of him to sell or trade that seat after Obama became President-elect. I can see there's more and more corrupt everywhere such as cops, lawyers, senators, and so on. Where did all the good ones go ? :-\

Maybe they're making change for peep shows. Or recruiting Marines. Or maybe they are bidding for that spot on Ebay. Far out.

IF who works for governor of Illinois they never sell that senate seat PEROID! its laws when mr.Obama become president they who will replace his seat not governor!

meh, you seems don't make any sense.

For replace the Obama's seat, it require special election and IL governor could run for senate if he want too, however he would probably not quality due recent arrest, if he did then will lose to new republican senate.

I understood that since Obama won the seat as well the President. Since the seat will be vacant, the governor appoints someone to that vacant seat.

The problem is the governor got greedy and was taking bids from people that wants the seat and then the governor would appoint the person that bid the most.

That is why he was arrested cause it was not supposed to be for his financial gain but he was making it for his own financial gain.
 
why are you guys surprised? this is nothing new to me. Politicians are corrupted and has been for centuries. This kind of news is very very common in Korea as well. nothing new... nothing new....
