I know I didn't visit any forums much for past 3 weeks due Xmas and New Year holiday and also illness, too. Today is my first work day after 3 weeks vacation that's why I have time to make a lot of posts...

I am shock and speechless after saw your avators "Guest - Posts: n/a " today, Monster Cookies and Kuiji75. Why have you both withdraw from your membership here? :(

What have we done to upset you both? Is it something I miss during 3 weeks or what?

I miss you and your interesting posts. I know that I will see you at AIM, msn and other forums but I create the thread here for you both to show you how much I miss you and your posts around here. :(


I hope you both will come back...
 
They were leavin' this AD, because they felt that the bible-thumpers were takin' over this AD.

It's Cookie Monster not Monster Cookie. :giggle: Yep I heard they departed because of bible thumpers were going all over the place in AllDeaf, but Alex made it perfect clear in his thread that he would want to keep all religious in Christianity forum only. I too misses their posting also. :( But, I do see them on another forum where I go. ;)
 
which is OUTRAGEOUS cuz they let those stupid bible thumpers GET TO THEM! :squint: I WISH THEY WOULDN'T LET THOSE AHEM.... assholes get to them cuz they were great ppl :( ... i loved their postings and their humor, wisdom... you name it... (sigh)

Yes, I'm agree with you all that they are great with their posting... I pray that they will come back... Yes I know I see them in other forum but it's still not the same without them around here AD forum... :(
 
Yeah, I know Lieblin'. I do missed them bein' here. They are fun to hang around. :lol: I will never forget that we exchanged our artworks. They are wonderful people. :aw:
 
Yeah I agree that they shouldn't have left but to ignore them cause no matter what forum you're in or whatever you go, there will always be a problem of something you may not like what you're seeing etc, you either leave this forum by letting them win, or you stick around and push them aside by ignoring them....

I'm not saying it's that simple to ignore, and I do know what it like to be turn off by something that you don't like to see or be part of, but Alldeaf isn't like other forums out there that is alot worse than here, afterall, Moderators and owner in AD do keep an eye open on things that going around this forum and they do care, but they may not be here all the time as they do have a life too, but sometimes they do need our help by being able to ignore the things that gets to us, but leaving here, won't solve anything because they know they can kick anyone out by keep doing it, so you have a choice either fight to stay, or leave by giving up....


I really do miss them and their posts, I hate to see anyone leaving.... :(
 
I didn't realize Cookie Monster had actually left! Well, I don't blame them.. I came this close to leaving ad because of the bible thumpers. But I'm still here. I was wondering about Cookie Monster though. Sure do miss them!
 
Yeah I already knew that Cookie Monster left here. I am sure some of you miss her same here.

Cookie Monster told me that she need breaks from AllDeaf via AIM but I never thought that she withdraw the AD membership...

Yes, I know that she is not happy what she saw this forum here but I never thought that she LEFT but "break for a while". We talked about this issue. I told her to ingore any threads.

Yes, few days after christmas I noticed they are quitting, as I am not surprised because it had happen before and I bet she will come back here again.

Give them a break.

I must admit to say AllDeaf has gone barmy with religious obsession, everywhere especially in Self-Esteem thread. :-o
 
:( I am so sorry to hear both Cookie Monster and Kuiji75 have withdrawn their membership :-o !! Their postings were always so interesting, enjoyable reading. I hope they do come back, as they are cherished members here on AllDeaf. They have been here too long to leave now.

I'm afraid yes, they messed my good thread "Self-Esteem" with religious issues which it's not relate on Self-Esteem.

Yes I competely agree with you there, in fact the thread that Liebling created was talking about self-esteem in children since it was under the parent forum, yet it looks like it went to another direction where it now talking about God....I'm totally lost to the point of where that thread was heading to..... :shock:

I honestly don't mind members discussing about God or any other type of religious, but to be fair to all the members here, it should remain in a forum where it say Religious, instead of all over the threads here in AD because some of them believes the Bible is the truth, yet when other members try to speak their mind on a thread , then another member will jump in and say what in the bible, it like an agrument between who's right and who's wrong, and it's not fair to everyone here, they want to speak their mind on something that related to what the thread is about without having to watch their back all the time.....

So if those who wants to discuss about God or the Bible, they can do so by all meaning to post in the religious sub forum here in AD just like the Rainbow Forum, where they posts things about homosexual... Sounds fair to me and I don't see a problem why not :dunno:

I am very much agreed.. First of all, I didnt realized that some people left or taking break just because of bible thumpers or exterme debate intreprut the thread.. or off point topic disgust alot of us.. I miss them!! Hey.. Cookie Monster and Kuiji75 and whoever are leaving or left.. Please come back.. Like me.. I always get disgusted or want to b*tch them out but I just let them talk, you always can talk to mods that they are off topic or move the thread to other section.. I know sometimes ignore is hard but I always ignore, they will less or stop talking.. the more you talk or talk back, they will keep on .. just like Venus Fly Trap.. they are trappers.. we are flies.. heh..

If the thread posted about some issues not related to God or upbringing God.. Should have post thread in Christianity Section if you want talk about God or related to Bible or stuff like that..

For example.. I post a thread.. "My life sucks" in general chat.
others posted as in reply.. if they decided to talk about God .. or Bible verse or something like that.. want to preach.. they should post thread in
Christianity.. "Reply to My life sucks" and.. kindly enough say.. simple.
in my thread.. "My life sucks" with your reply with Christainity section link to let you know that feel free to read and want to touch your life..

than toss around and go off topic.. or talk nasty back each other.. it turns us off..

I wanted to name this person that hurl my tummy every time we post threads or reply threads, i rather not say who.. this person tend to upbringin about Verses or Bible or his/her opnions.. thats exterme harsh thing for that person do that.. it digusted me.. myself is a christain... we are in free country, I know freedom of speech but respect to others.. not preach about God or bible..
my opnions for the bible thumpers arent christain.. God didnt ask us to go out and thumper on people.. God just wanted us speak freely and neutral.. for example.. meet friend... ask if friend is christain, friend said not really or said no.. I will say, feel free to know about God and let me know.. friend said oh ok.. thats it.. dont overdo.. or jump and tell about God.. blahh!

Yes, I second that over type of religious issues.
