Is it me or is anyone else addicted to this show on NBC?

Its amazing how greedy people get towards the end when they "think" they can win the game and 99% of the time leave with nothing. lol

99% of the time they leave with nothing??? That's not true.. 99% of the time they bring home money. but none of them has won a million dollars yet.

and yes i'm addicted to that show! they're just trying to give me a heart attack every time they say "no deal"
 
I like that show..makes me wonder what the person going to do lol
 
WOW I didnt know about the show til I read this topic.

I'd really love to watch the show but grr I work at nights so I cant watch it (and no TiVo on me too :( ).

I was also surprised to see Howie Mandel look so different than when I remembered seeing him in "St. Elsewhere" 20 years ago.

That show reminds me of the classic Monty Hall show "Let's Make a Deal" except this one is so tuff to beat than Monty's show.

This new show has been coming on since before Xmas. you got vcr and you can record it?

Howie Mandel does look really different. I didn't even know who he was til you brought up the movie "st. Elsewhere" I used to watch that show a lot when i was younger. that show is very tempting! you should watch it.. plus all them pretty girls up there holding the money.. :naughty: something you can watch too.. jk lol
 
The show is cool to watch...seeing how each contestant makes their decision to punch on the red button or see the audiences crying out, "NO DEAL!!", etc., and oftentimes, most of the contestants have started out good while a few have started out really bad, yet managed to walk away with a fair amount except for the one that I do recall leaving with 8 bucks.

As for Howie Mandel, indeed, he does looks different, yet does this show exceptionally well, I do recall the days while he was a stand-up comedian and he was really hilarious to watch!!

Oh man I didnt pay attention to what has been going on in TV land as I dont even watch TV much anymore except to catch news and sports. No wonder why I didnt hear about the show til 3 months later.

I don't think there was such 8 bucks.. there was .01, $1, $5, $10 and so on. so now that I corrected you, do you recall any of these dollars up there? :evil: :giggle:

You missed a good and fun 3 months of that show. now you know and its time for you to find time and watch the show. :wink:

Pssttt...THAT'S what the banker offered...and was accepted. The case held 5 bucks if I remember correctly. ;) You're right, there's NO 8 dollars up on the board....

Yes I remembered the bank offered him 8 bucks and he went home with 8 bucks.

I love that show. I kept yelling at the TV "NO DEAL" all the time. :giggle:

I'm soo addicted to that show, I couldn't miss it for one day!!....

Ohhhh drats!! For the life of me, I can't believe I've forgotten....but anyhow, I'm NOT making a deal with ya...it's more of...no need to say, "I'm sorry"...and the deal is that you don't need to do so....unless you want that piece of the 'golden halo', then continue on pressing ^Angel^ for the ramifications of a 'deal'....a heavenly one at that! :D
