Magatsu is a young swordsman in eighteenth-century Japan who loses his sister to one of ruthless lords by accidently kicked the ball in the Lord's horse's way and scared the horse (I know it is stupid to lose a live like that but that's rich people like lords for you). Magatsu determined to be a swordsman to 'purge' these lords and samurais in eighteenth-century Japan to protect the innocent civilans from their cruelity.
