A train struck and killed a deaf man Wednesday, but police said they were not sure whether his hearing loss was a factor in the accident.
Curtis D. Anderson, 24, Muncie, walked in front of the moving freight train about 1:30 p.m., after the train's operator blew the whistle.
"Instead, he stepped right onto the track as they were approaching him," Muncie Police Sgt. Brad Arey said.

That was "Amy", the movie I was talking about.
Did they mean crossing the tracks or walking along them? The crossing on Jefferson Road near RIT has gates for both cars and the sidewalk. There are also no trepassing signs to warn people not to walk along the tracks.
