Man Killed In Ansan Sister City Park

LAS VEGAS -- A man shot to death at a park in northwest Las Vegas was hearing impaired and could not hear the threats from an armed robber who shot him.

That’s according to Las Vegas Metro police, who found the man’s body at a park near Buffalo and Alta drives.

In a news conference Monday afternoon, police said the victim, Kevin Franchow, was approached by two African-American juveniles at Ansan Sister City Park but could not hear them demanding he hand over his possessions.

Franchow was shot several times in the back.

According to witnesses, the first man is 5 feet 6 inches tall, is heavy-set and was wearing a red sweatshirt and dark, baggy jeans. The second man was described as 5 feet 1 inch tall and was wearing a white T-shirt and dark, baggy jeans

That's why I refuse to live in any place that are full of gangsters. I've notice most of gangsters does not understand the deafness.

I was waiting for a bus stop near a apartment that have a lot of gangsters and one guy came to me and tried to talk to me, I point to my ear and shook my head, even having my lip "I deaf" with no sound, but he just kept trying to talk to me with look like bullying me, but one girl slapped him and yell at him "He's deaf!!", and that guy kept stare to me till they walk away.

I felt so sorry for that deaf guy in Las Vegas has to die just because of those jerk ego who are dumb enough to deny to understand that he was deaf, but use the gun as solution. Roll my eyes!
 
I am sure that deaf man was confused when he was shot for an apparently no reason. I feel sorry for this man who was at the wrong place at wrong time.
May his soul rest in peace and hopefully they will find an armed robber who shot him. :(
 
I hope they get caught and have their coclears ripped out and be deaf for the rest of their lives to see what it is like being deaf.
 
Those two thugs are very cold and heartless. I hope they rot in jail.
