Deaf Events

Can anybody provide a source or two of various deaf events that would be taking place in Maryland or Northern VA (hopefully in maryland). I've been doing a lot of searching and the results have been poor. I'm finding a lot of sites that are either full of dead links or haven't been updated since Feb of 2003 :(

I have found some events that are within driving distance but was hoping to find some deaf clubs (that welcome hearies) and other functions a little closer to home.

Anyone have thoughts/suggestions on such a resource?
 
i posted those in another thread Taylor -- abt the DPHHs and etc -- are u referring to deaf clubs in the area qq

Did you try the deaf school in Frederick or Gally/MSSD site? They usually have links to other organizations/events so maybe try there? I know that DPHH events are very popular in DC area.

Did you try this site, DeafDC.com?

Were you planning on attend a Deaf events near your hometown Taylor?...
 
Thanks everyone for the great info (I knew I was asking the right groups)

Flyfree, the DPHH was one of the ones I was referring to when I said I found a few. I plan on attending some of their events.....I was also looking for some more groups that are in my area as well ;)
 
Are you planning on attending the Aders party as well?.... :fingersx:
