I am pretty sure he wanted a deaf lady, not dead. This brings up another question- If a male is single and can hear - don't you think its odd he looking for a deaf woman ?

Oh god...yea, I have had people introduce me and they have said "Let you know, she is dead or she is death." The people usually look at me like I am some kind of freak while I have no idea what was said about me. GAWD!

Here's a little tid-bit: When I moved to CA from MN in 1970, the new address my life insurance company had for me was: "CA School for the Dead". And here's a hint of which life insurance company this was: They had an ad jingle that went: "Our business is Life".

lol

I have made that typo before. especially on my BB with the Suretype.

One time, NTID made a mistake when they posted their quarterly report online a few years ago.

They said... "National Technical Institute for the Dead".

I love that mistake. I have a shirt with the grim reaper with the international deaf sign on a necklace. And it says "I am not Death."

:rofl2:

Of course I can understand the typo as the letter 'd' and 'f' are side by side. But still--that's hilarious!

That is too funny!

I remember I once got a letter from my son's doctor asking me to update the personal information, etc and in it; It said "Kentucky School for the Death." At that moment, I was thinking "WTF" and knew it had to be an error. So, of course, I corrected it but I also had to laugh at it too.
