Curious: what do our deaf members do for a living?

linux writes beautifully and very sensually! I love reading his steamy poems. You should be able to find some of them here on ad- it has gotten many of us quite steamed up! :giggle:

Not exactly the kinda poems I had in mind.

Basically, My main responsibility is to catch the errors and to correct it. I also have to enroll new members (to assign them to different types of areas of enrollments) and to update the existing members's cases that are listed in the medicare system.

at least that's better than this guy's job whose job is to find any fineprint errors to help insurance company to reject someone's coverage if it got too costly. :mad2:

That is also true but even though, It does take a toll on the mentality because most of the time there are words that are easily overlooked. The common errors I find would be birthdates, SSN, Medicare Numbers, Addresses, so and on.

I have heard of proofreaders doing their job and if they overlook those errors, it can be catastrophic.

You have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. Good thing you have attention to detail. It shows in your posts. You always look beneath the surface.

Thank You. When I first started working; I only did the transaction processing. I was bored out of my mind doing that. Ever since I took up the dual role as a Quality Control Auditor, It's been challenging and the task varies through out the day. It's fun, really but it also is mentally exhausting. It's something that I've enjoyed doing because I don't get to do repeating stuffs through the day.

how is your work hour?

how is your work hour?

It varies. Most of the time it'd be from 6:30 am to 2 or 3 pm. Sometimes it'd go from 8 am to 3 pm. There are times when it gets really busy and that's when I'd end up working 10 hours a day, sometimes it runs up to 12 hours.
