CSDR = California School for the Deaf, Riverside. There is a CIF game today (CIF = California football tournment)... Check the Sport Illustrated magazine on next week (or this week), there will be a article about CSDR and its football team!

I don't have any link right now but if there is any, I will post in here. It is quite exciting that deafies get some kind of attention thru media and SI magazine.

Our school and football team is scoring big time
with the media! In the most recent issue of Sports
Illustrated you will find an outstanding article
done by Rick Reilly on our team. It will bring a
tear of joy and pride to your eyes. This morning at
10:30 The Today Show will be here to do a feature on
our school and team. At 2pm this afternoon CNN will
be here to do similar coverage. At the football
game tonight there will be 5 TV station teams
covering the contest, NBC Today Show, CNN, CBS,
Channel 5, and one other from the LA area.

The Today Show feature will on their Thanksgiving
morning program. We do not, as yet, have
information about CNN or the other stations. I
encourage you all to wear red and go out to the game
at 7pm this evening at Sherman Indian High School.
Let’s have a sea of red to show our support for our
wonderful coaches, players, and cheerleaders!!

It was so cool last night. I drove by Poly High and
on their light up bulletin board it said; “Good Luck
from Poly High Bears to CSDR Cubs”

I got it from CSDR email.

CSDR really going to need all the positive publicity they can get.
