Maybe, you interpret different from others. Maybe, it is not about the " cross dressers " in the scripture. Maybe, I interpret different from others, too. :dunno: It would be nice to see others' opinions/point of views on this issue and, see what they interpret it means.

I believe God would like to see a " woman " to wear a " woman " clothes and for a " man " to wear a " man " clothes. It's a proper way to show the opposite sex - IMO.

See the pic I posted.

Fashions change.

Yep, I see your post. Fashions change, yes -- I like old fashioned clothes like 1920's to 1940's. They were more appealin' and attractive than today.

True, God looks in the heart instead of outside, that is what is outside shown what's from the heart to do things or say things. And I agree, I have seen parents drinking drunk in front the children or blwo smoke out of the mouth on children face and etc, but no difference about men wearing dresses. Now, hahahaha, the pic of old days like in 1700s, the hose men wearing isn't the same as today kind of hose. But, I love those people tho I have some transgender friends, and they knew I'm very strong christian, but they have never met a person like how I say things and some tears as telling me that never met anyone like me so much love and caring, they know that I don't agree of their doing. Its not just me, it is Christ who shown me as I watch every step how Jesus react to the sinners. Am I open mind, no and am I nuetral, no. I shared, God work the rest, that's all to it. Do I make mistakes some ways, you bet I do, will I dwell my thought of my mistakes? No. Stand up and keep running and don't let mistakes control, let God control after confession to Him. That's what christian should be. Many many and even Joyce Meyers, Charles Stanley, Max Lucado are saying many many christians doesn't do it accordingly.

There are many things today that we could do without such as those ugg boots, collar popping, bleaching your hair, etc, but I like today's fashion overall.

I guess we all have different tastes.

Actually, now that I think about it, I like the fashion of the 70s.

Pretty badass.

Well, remember that in Jesus' ancient time, He wore garment like a dress. He don't wear a pants. It doesnt' mean that He was transgender or whatsoever. Durin' His ancient time, there were never an invention to make pants like today.
There was one time I went down to Omaha, Nebraska with my friends who took me there - it was a long drive at one night. We went inside a Baptist Church there where they were showin' their play on the stage. Ohhh, I LOVE THEIR PLAY and, even it made me tears. They were wearin' those Israeli clothes just like in ancient time. I felt like I was in their world to experience it what it was like to feel in Jesus' ancient time - soo beautiful and, they were singin' their praise to Jesus at His Birth. And, even I watched 2 angels glidin' on the ceilin' above me... sooo beautiful and awesome. Of course, that room was in the dark, so we people can watch for a better view with the lights upon the show and 2 angels above. I saw the REAL camel walkin' on the aisle inside the congregation room.. that was where I was sittin' in. They even brought the sheep, and a few in. Soo much just like in ancient times. Aww -- good thing, I took some pics of them. I will insert them in here sometime later on today. It was very inspirin' experience for me. After the play was done, a pastor came up on the stage askin' everyone where they came from. LOL I raised my hand and told him that I was from Alaska when he asked who was the furtherest state from Iowa. He gave me a book called " Experiencin' God ". Aww - so such beautiful experience I've ever had ! Very touchin'....

Hahaha, you bet, everyone has different taste and very true, if everyone the same, that would be very boring. Oh, I love the clothes how women dress and hair styles. Even tho, I love the beauties of women wearing southern bell and how men dresses. I like formal. I love cowboys outfits also. Haha, I grew up in the 70s and during that time, I thought that was cool clothes and now when I see how we dresses back in the 70s and I asked is that what we are wearing?? YIIIIIIIIIKKKKEEESS!!!!!!!! LOL but like gothics clothes and punks and leathers, I don't like, as for my thought looks eerie. But I met some goths who shared with me why they wear that and really sad, bec people attitudes toward them and how they were raised in non christian homes and also christian homes, bec I knew some families of christian home treating them, no encouragment and no love, going to church but live differently at home. Remember, that's SOME christians. There are goths saying how lucky some have a great godly christian parents show so much love and proper disciplines. Love is the key. Love and open minded doesn't go hand in hand, its the opposite. But now in days, kids begin to wear to sexy and to exposing and why they do that? To make someone to appeal and some are doing sexual purpose. There are so many are doing that for example, there are hot guy the girl like and hot guy asking for sex she go for it, and the other guy who is not her type and charged against him for seducing him. Whose fault is it? The girl. Many have different opinions about how they dress and many using those clothes for a purpose.

what about boys wearing pink clothes..

now days they do.. in our time 80's if we see boys wearing pink, they label them gay..

its sad.. now i have seen alot of men and boys are wearing pink, it doesnt mean they are gay..

thats same with black clothes, we labeled them gothic..

just fashion.. colors are colors.. in the bible.. as long our bodies are covered by clothes..

and for crossdressers... i dont mind as long they are respecting.. you cant hide from your children just like you hide them from world.. we cant.. even alot kids are crossdressers in school... we cant prevent.. AS LONG.. they are respecting.. go in proper gender restrooms..

for deaf club not allow crossdressers, thats discriminations.. WHAT if.. a guy who is homeless, someone gave him clothes, that fit him.. he wears almost like lady clothes, as long he is clothing.. still not allow in deaf club or public places that forbid crossdressers.. thats sad..

Well, that's sad for today. It's the parents' responsibility to teach their kids to wear proper clothes until the age of 18. Also, a father needs to teach his daughter what he knows about the boys/men in order to protect herself.

I do agreed with you about that part. Because my dad did teach me to protect myself also he taught me to be not to show of my wimp to everybody, just show my tough.

Yeppers, I do agreed with you about parents' responsibility to teach their kids to wear.

Hahahaha, in biblical times, the garments both men and women wear look similar, but truthfully if you becareful how they dress is differntly, how those times know the different btwn men and women. You got a good point there. But there are some differences about their clothing how they dresses or kind of garments they wear. And the behavior of it. Its depend how we look at.

I believe that in biblical times, women wore more colorful and their clothes were very sleeky...a little different than men's. Very appealin' than men's. It attracted men to women in biblical times. As of today, it is worse than in biblical times, because there are some women like to wear almost nuthin' on them -- almost showin' their bare skin.

*sigh* I am going through with teenagers.. they are tough and stubborn. I give the clothes to them .. to wear... and its proper dressings than what they are wearing now days.. they THREW sissy fits & threatened me in many bad words and cussed.. even threatened me that they will call CPS on me.. i was like uh?... I still stand on my feet.. I dont care if they call on me, I will just simply show them what I was doing.. I am changing them no matter what... so..
other day recently, i took all their clothes and put away.. i gave the new ones and said.. you all have to wear that and this.. its simple nice clothes from Target/Walmart.. T-shirts, shorts.. nothing sexy or fancy.. its nice clothes.. ( )..
because one of them wearing bum like clothes, one of them wearing like gangtsa clothes..
I have good reasons to do so, because to show them dont wear bum clothes, keep clean so they can be responsible and take care of themselves. for wearing gangsta clothes.. alot of kids or young adults have been mistaken shot or kill or beat up on kids who wear gangsta clothes.. like.. different groups.. want to kill or beat up or being shot.. find that code gangsta fashion or clothings.. but what if a kid (like my son) wear gangsta clothes just because he think it looks good on him but not joined in groups.. the other group has been told to shoot.. they came out look for that "fashion code or color code" or something, saw kid.. and shot them.. but later, found out that kid is not part of gangsta groups.. so i dont want that happen to my son..

whats more.. kids are still under my wings.. till they are 18.. but.. Gosh.. now days, they can do anything twist things around.. or black mail or anything like that.. its scary.. but I am trying to be strong and stand on my feet..
Do it or not.. if not.. go out and walk in naked.. (eeh)

I think the Bible principle is that men should look like the men of their culture, and women should look like the women of their culture. That is, in whatever time and country you are living, it should be easy to tell which people are men and which people are women by their clothing.

There is no hard and fast "fashion" rule. Each culture is different.

Example: Men in Scotland wear kilts, Greek honor guard soldiers wear pleated "skirts", and African warriors wear wrap-around skirts. Those are acceptable "male" attire for their cultures.

Hahaha, like preppy guys are so gay, its not so. A guy wears pink mean gay, its not so. A guy wears black, mean they are gothics. Johnny Cash isn't gothic, he wears black. Yeah, by the color isn't mean anything. Yes, it is parents responsiblity to their children and dress properly. Now in days, many young girls putting tooooo much makeup. They look pretty by natural look than makeups. They are like their age. Children wearing make up living like adult, not children who they are children. At first my oldest wearing to much make up by influenced by my brother's daughter. And her clothes is too exposing. And I asked her if this too much. She's not bitter or stuff like that to me, bec my daughter and I are very close. Now, her clothes are more decent and hardly any make up on her and she looks more prettier that way. My brother is a pastor, he didn't stop her from wearing stuff like that. But she is very rebellion girl. She thinks she's more pretty with all that make up and she gets pissed when the guys rather have less make up to look more prettier. My brother loves his daughter so much and do every way to show love to her. is my daughter makes mistakes? Ofc, she does. Do I turn my back on her? I wouldn't dare. I love her soooo much and she loves me sooo much. It is parents responsibilty to teach kids in proper way and set example of it. Peer pressures on kids is overwhelming. Bec based on what you wear, or make you be like them or many other things like that. Even adult need to wear some appropriate wearing if its not too exposing. All of us have choices to make. Nothing that any of us to stop them.

I know it must be scary for you and some mothers. It depends on what environment they are growin' up in. Let's for example : If, they live in where there are some gangs around ..then, it may influence their kids. I noticed kids like the way other kids dressed and wanted to copy them, their style of clothes. If, they live in where there are some " well to do " neighbors, then it will influence kids to wear nicely like them. You know why ? Because, kids will make new friends with their neighbors and, they will wear dress the same code -- it all depends on where they live and that environment may impact on their kids.

I raised my kids in a small town - in East Wenatchee, WA back in 1980's. That town was very country with lots of lands. My kids wore " down to earth " clothes just like me - nuthin' fancy or rags. Our old neighbors' children wore the same as my kids'. They were middle-class neighbors.

Supposedly, if one family with children who are " well to do " to live in a " slum " area -- then, the " poor " neighbors will see their " fancy " clothes and, they will start thinkin' that they have " money ". They will start to break in and steal things what the " well to do " family have. It's why I don't want the neighbors to know what we have by checkin' on what kind of clothes they were wearin' and, the type of car they were usin'. Really, it all depends what kind of environment they chose to live in.
