Crocodile Man? you mean Steve Irwin? or Mike Dundee?
An adult was with him so he wasn't alone and it's unlikely the first time he's handled a baby crocs so I doubt he was at risk. It was probably also his own desire to do this and he seemed to be having fun. I just hope as he gets older he continues to use good judgement in handling these animals.

Rule #1 - you are always at risk when handling a wild animal.
that "baby croc" can twist off his fingers/hands like a paper towel with a death roll. and its tail whip is strong enough to leave a scar on his face.
Jiro , people might think you're a ' joy killer" when you're being so sensible .
I agree with you . I saw a boy that needed to have stiches because a 'cute rottie puppy' bit the boy right in the face.
that's fine. let them think I'm a joy killer because this is definitely not cool in my book. it's crazy and stupid.
In terms of boy bitten in face - sad but common as small children are naturally more at dog level and also more likely to get down and stare at a dog or pat at them on the face, both of which are very rude from the dog's perspective.
I really did think of Steve and Bindi Irwin when I saw the shots of the boy with the gator-
I agree. it's not cool. No way would I let a kid handle a crocodile or any wild animal, even myself.
hi back 8am here,,and still in bed, with the lappy on my lap, its so freezing out!..
,there's interesting feed backs we have here, its bit like being film critics and questioning violence, or the glamorizing of it...now...consider this, don't this glamorizing reflects to how 'we thinks' about bravery or strength or control over animals is some kind of domination quality that the aggressive society seem to condone? some might say 'human nature' or 'natural aggression' or 'humans are evil to control every specie 'beneath' the human race on earth' or even 'male superiority' as in display of power and strength ?
not just 'children shouldn't be doing this' ,add to this, notice he was supervised by a zoo-keeper who took glee to see 'my boy' is going to grow up as a second 'Steve Irwin' in a similar way as 'football players' seeing their sons to have 'winners with ball and will be the 'best'??'
just something else to digest that's all... I'm not trying to stir you up, just its more about thinking deeper than what it seems
Cheers
