Crepes is a french sort-of like a dessert. It tastes like a pancake but thin and delicious! You can put any kind of foods on it, either flat em out, put one other on top of it or wrap 'em.

In my opinion, dessert is better than dinner/breakfast such as some meats/eggs in it- yuck. Because crepes is kinda sweet. I made it sometimes, usually I'd put some powder sugar on it or nutella.

There are very few crepes restaurants. I've been to one in Providence, other two in San Francisco. They're popular but very small. I'm still looking for one in NY. At least, the Ihops make 'em!

Lemme know if you know any of crepes restaurants or restaurants that make 'em. And put some of ideas you'd like to put on your crepes!

Yessssssssssssss, crêpes rules! I love to make them and use nutella on it, and eat it! I don't know of any crêpe restaurants in the tri-state area :(

I usually check this French website for crêpe recipes:

My favourite recipe is Charlotte de crêpes sauce pinacolada.

I do like non-dessert crêpes though. I think you make two different kinds of crêpes for dessert and for non-dessert, but I'm not sure. :dunno:

My favourite non-dessert crêpe recipe would be brocolli cheese crêpe!

Edited: Wanted to add this.... where would you be able to find a good sized crêpe pan in the US anyway? I only see one small crêpe pan in Bed, Bath and Beyond, but would prefer something bigger. See this link to see what I mean, it is a bit too small...

In Eastern Europe: I know of Croatia anad Hungary call it Palačinke it means the same thing. I <3 them. I haven't had them in soooo long though so when I was talking to my grandma last night I mentioned it and she was like I just made some after Easter I was like oh baba why didn't you tell me because she knows there my favourite. In Croatia Palačinke is really thin but when I went to a Hungarian resturant and ordered it they made it like a pancake really thick I didn't like that. I like the thin ones better with strawberry jam or just plain.

my best friend from Paris, France always make these crepes. its so good with nutella, french jams, and fruits.
