Could I be allergic to my colored molds?

I've had colored molds on and off for 24 years and I've been fine.
Had my latest set of blue molds for 7 months and suddenly I have red roar ear canals and they are swollen.

I've had many ear infections thru out my life but never anything like this. I've had 3 lots of antibiotics and still just as bad.

Can't get new molds done as ears are so swollen and I have to wear my HAs coz of my job. I can't work out if I could be allergic?!
 
Not my sharpie'd tubing, looked the picture of them that I sent to the mom that first started doing it and I had already had infection for 8 days then.

Had 24/7 tinnitus and doc has said it's due to all the antibiotics I've had :(

Tinnitus sucks! Can see why people hate it now!
 
Diluted tea-tree oil is good for yeast infections. A baby had bad diaper rash, I recommended it to the mom, and it cleared it up overnight. My wet-wipes help prevent it.

I did actually find that out today but wasn't a 100% sure :)
 
I tried blue ear molds not too long ago and they really made my ears hurt. I stopped using them and went back to my normal ear molds.
 
It could be the coloring that you're allergic too, or the materials used in the ear molds, or the shape/size of the ear molds.

I know a few people who got new ear molds and their ears hurt for a few days because they weren't accustomed to the new shape/design/material... but it went away after a week. I guess it varies on the individual.

You ask your audiologist about what materials they used in the ear molds? Compare that with the materials used in the ear molds before that?
