Yea, many people got them confused. I know of one that they played together ...one of my favorites, "The Lost Boys" ..what others did they play in? I cant remember...arrgh!

Being a child actor is hard and when you lose an appeal as a child, Hollywood can be cruel and dropped ya in the garbage can. I always had a problem with the way how Hollywood treats child stars. Take Gary Coleman as an example.

Yiz

Yeah. I used to love the family ties. I learned about how Brian Bonsall turns out now. I think he was also cute from the star trek named Alex is who worf's son.

Oh god, cut with the "Look at how Hollywood ruined them!"

There are a lot of child actors who turned out just dandy fine and often become private as they get older.

And there are a lot of non-Hollywood people who have fallen to drug addiction and drinking problems just like famous people have.

It ain't the Hollywood problem - it's a human problem found in all societies from trailer trash people on welfare all the way up to filthy rich famous people.

why are you labelling people?

New info is stating that he had fluid on his lungs and his heart was enlarged. They're not saying it was an overdose....

And yes, terribly sad!!

I remember Corey Haim. Too young to die. :(

Rest in peace, Corey Haim..... :sadwave:

Ah, I thought I was reading Brittany Murphy's thread when I skimmed through the comments. Regardless of the cause or if the person was 'asking for it', this is a tragic event =( his life was a short and tumultuous one indeed.

Corey Haim died of pneumonia, the same condition that killed Brittany Murphy. He was extremely unhealthy - his lungs were damaged (smoking does that), and his heart is almost twice as large as normal heart. Liver is enlarged too.

"Actor Corey Haim died from pneumonia complicated by an enlarged heart and narrowed blood vessels, while drugs found in his system played no role in his death, the Los Angeles County coroner said Tuesday.

Haim, 38, died of natural causes from "community-acquired pneumonia" that damaged his lungs, according to an autopsy report."

Corey Haim Cause Of Death: Pneumonia Complications, NOT Drugs

While drugs may not directly caused his death, I think his long history of drug abuse did damage his immune system and made him unhealthy.
