Conker, the little cute red squirrel who first appeared in Rare and Nintendo's "Diddy Kong Racing" on Nintendo 64. In 2001, Conker returned to the N64 in his own mature-rated game "Conker's bad fur day" containted with foul language, sex jokes, and non-stop drinking alcholism, and pot.

Ever since the split up with Rare and Nintendo and already is bought by the billion-dollar company, Mircosoft, who's in the gaming business of the Xbox.
Rare and Mircosoft studios has planned to make another conker game, but actually...a remake from the orginal Nintendo 64 game. "Conker : Live and Reloaded", a remake from the Nintendo 64 title, with superb true Xbox-ish graphics, more items and levels, that weren't in the N64 title, and more foul language, more sex jokes, and other true M-rated themes for the Xbox.
bigger and longer mulitplayer with more characters, more weapons, and more action!

Mircosoft and Rare said it should be released for the Xbox next year.

In the meantime, enjoy the snap shots. ^^

NICE ONE!! I haven't been playing this Conker's game for a long time. I'll try to play this new one. That picture look so cool!

*sigh* such sad, sad, SAD news, dawgs n' bebes...it's going to be delayed.

I hear from GameSpot.com that it won't be released 'til March 2005.

*sobbing* WHY DO SO MANY FRIGGIN' GAMES GET FRIGGIN' DELAYED ALL THE FRIGGIN' TIME!?!?

Conker: Live and Reloaded Hands-On

TOKYO--Rare's Conker: Live and Reloaded will have a fairly substantial multiplayer component, but not much attention has been devoted to the game's single-player adventure. But here at the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft is showing off a brief demo level that has a pretty good feel to it.

The level takes place in some pretty tight quarters. It opens with Conker in a small corridor. As you move ahead, you'll have to hop over laser beams that damage you on contact. But you'll also have to watch out for enemy soldiers. These bad squirrels are armed with rifles, but their main attack isn't to fire their guns. The rifles are fixed with bayonets, and given the tight confines of the corridor, it's easy to get cut up. You'll also have to worry about flamethrower troops, who occasionally block your progress with a fiery blast, but they occasionally let up, giving you ample time to proceed. Eventually the path leads to some sort of death chamber, inhabited by a series of evil-yet-cute doctors who toss needles at you while you mow them down. Upon finishing that, a cutscene plays, and a furry little dude who happens to be strapped into an electric chair asks for your help. There are two switches, and as the cutscene states, one of them will set him free and the other will fry him. We suspect that regardless of which switch you choose, the guy gets fried, since hitting the other switch after the little guy gets cooked opens the door that leads out of the room and, consequently, ends the demo.

As far as effects go, Conker's got a really nice look to it. The ambient light that is cast by the flamethrower radiates off of Conker's fur quite well. The characters have a good amount of facial animation, which keeps the game's overall style fairly whimsical, despite the game's focus on bloodshed.

Aside from this sort of single-player shooting, the game also promises to have a robust team-based multiplayer option when it's released. For more updates, be sure to check GameSpot's coverage of Tokyo Game Show 2004.

A demo has been made for Xbox and hopefully that I would get that demo sometime soon...

The demo should be shipped with the Offical xbox magzine this november and some other kind of special demo would be shipped to EB and Gamestop stores around Januray.

Hmm, it seems to have some Halo-inspired gameplay and levels along with some Wolfenstein-inspired ones too as well.

Very Terminatorish too. :)

you know what i just noticed?

the picture where Conker was reading a magazine that has Master Chief on the cover...well look at the back of the magazine. there's a Killer Instinct title shown.

so perhas it's a sign that Rare is working on the next KI title for Xbox?

to be honest, not likely. :( Rare seems to be getting pretty slow with their games lately.
