Dell Dimension 4300 (2002)

- Intel Pentium IV
- 1.8 GHz
- 512 MB RAM
- 16 MB ATI-Rage 128 Ultra Video Card
- CD-RW
- 20 GB HDD
- Windows XP Pro w/ SP2

Just out of curiosity, do you remember how much it cost back then?

I've found it much cheaper to build a computer instead of buying one. I built a computer with similar specs as yours last year and it was relatively inexpensive to do so. I'm just curious what those were running when they were new

I've found it much cheaper to build a computer instead of buying one. I built a computer with similar specs as yours last year and it was relatively inexpensive to do so.

i do too. it s much cheaper to build the pc than the brand one. my pc runs really great. i call this silverbullet.

Really cool! I read somewhere that yours is faster than a G5 1.8.

Yes, it's cheaper to build it yourself. However, you're at greater risk of not doing it properly or damaging the computer.

Yes, it's cheaper to build it yourself. However, you're at greater risk of not doing it properly or damaging the computer.

You mean static currents? Burrr gotta do it nude build one (well not really I hear you gotta buy that wrist band to do it)

Actually the G5 is faster than my G4, :P The specs u have are wrong. G5 began at 1.6 GHz, not 1 GHz, so I assume u have a dual G4 7455 or 7457.
