Palm and Cingular recently announced the first Palm Treo to run on Cingular’s 3G/UMTS network with fast download speeds in U.S. markets and in other countries around the world.

The Treo 750 has email, web browsing, messaging, organization software, and runs on Windows Mobile 5.0. It also has a new compact design with contoured edges to make it comfortable in the hand, a full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a bright 240×240 touch screen, an internal antenna, and supports Bluetooth.

In addition, the Treo 750 has a built-in 60MB of available storage and can be enhanced by using the miniSD slot to add memory up to 2GB. This is great for storing media files such as pictures, music and video.

The Treo 750 will be available for $399.99 with a 2-year contract and mail-in rebate on January 8, 2007 for businesses and consumers at Cingular Wireless stores and online at cingular.com Unlimited plans start as low as $39.00 per month.
