If u looking to buy used car, best way to check with carfax history report.

carfax history report is not free. always ask a private seller for vin number, he/she will give it to you and u can check it out. If he/she refuse give it to you then it means something's bad or wrong about the car. you don't want to buy a lemon car.

I bought a used car last year from craigslist for private seller. turned out it was a deaf person who sold me the car. It's a coincidence.
That car I bought just tiny tiny problem but everything's good so far. I'm happy with this car,

go to www.carfax.com

well.....

My car is saturn SL1 year 1997. I know it's not popular car but good gas and save.
I'm planning to buy brand new car with hybrid in future, not right now.

So far, no problem with my car, I took care of it like a doctor.

I used to drive acura legend with two door for one yrs (my fave acura but too old for me year 1988, they're strong and fast)
then oh boy, ford probe GT year 1994 with two door midnight blue well, I don't like ford and I hate gas but I like fast and kinda heavy in my car and I like designer inside but I hate two doors and kinda small in the back and crowd. Some of my friend who's taller like 6" doesn't fit in the back, he has to sit in the front but he kinda duck down because of his head. (Ooh, sorry about that) I drove this for like 6 yrs then I decide to change to now this saturn 1997 just normal car and save me gas finally with four doors whew. My saturn will be one year next month. :)

My step-father used to have Saturn SL1 (I believe 1999). I got to drive it a few times and loved it how it went. He currently drives a cheapie-looking Daewoo (sp?) - a strange car where the battery is located under the trunk. He rather be driving a car that saves more gas.

Have you checked with CarMax? I believe they rely strictly on CarFax reports.

My TV flat is daewoo but never drive a daewoo, I don't like strange daewoo car looking but it's true that save gas better than nothing and as long as he take care of his daewoo car. Oh, I didn't know about the battery under the trunk.

What about you?

I heard about carmax.
I bought this from CL (craigslist) and I checked carfax history report, it shows no problem. Except just one tiny little problem but nothing bad.

I tested other people's craigslist with vin number on CL and several of them show alert warning that found problems like bad accident or engine problems.

What about you?

... chuckle... remind me of Yugo.. eh .. but saw it with 179k miles on it.

 I saw red Yugo while I was delivering mail on my route. It look good and seem that owner took care of it. I test drove Yugo many years ago and I don't like it cuz of stick shift hard to find 1st gear and it doesn't run fast. It sucks big!! Poor quality car.
